Respectfully I disagree with the op.
We should at least give jones until Xmas before we see these kinds of posts.
We played really well today and were unlucky. Marking for the 3rd goal was bad, and in all honesty jack is looking very out of form.
But i think the pressing and energy was good. We just need to finish our chances.

What the hell had he learned from all the "free" games he had last season?
Nothing at all. Nothing at all.

You knicker wetting bastards need to get real. That’s the best we’ve played for many, many months if our Strikers could hit a barn door we’d have been out of sight after 50 minutes. Today’s result was probably the least Jones fault out of all the games he’s had in charge. For me, this is the biggest concern. The manager made a number of decisions which completely derailed the successful period we were enjoying in the game. I respect your opinion but I'd argue this was a result which Jones is mostly to blame for (and partly Butland - when did he last actually make a save?) I would argue that playing at that tempo and creating that amount of chances we should have been out of sight after 50 minutes. The manager did nothing wrong. Lee Gregory looks a fantastic signing.

They are a new team and are still learning to play together, they need time to gel. Barring their goals we played great and in a few games time we will start tearing teams apart. The positives far out weigh the negatives. Even at 3-1 down we kept pushing, it's coming together and it's only a matter of time before the results come.

Quite frankly enough is enough. His record is abysmal his formations are abysmal playing McClean at LB is abysmal We deserve better He has to go. No one can be of sound mind and want him to stay..3 wins in 23 matches...its a joke Mclean didn’t even play you f**king weapon!!!! Go and take your head for a wobble, along with every dozy p***k that is calling for Jones head.

Regardless of Today’s performance his record is woeful. Anyone who saw last weeks “performance” can not really have any objections to the negative feelings surrounding our manager. There is literally no evidence to suggest this Stoke Team are better than their previous two results. I would love to see us turn it around against Derby next week but I’m guessing not many of our regular fans will put hard £££ on it.

Get a grip man jesus we've been robbed of this game, best we've played for months. If we play well and still lose there’s a problem. I’m not saying he should go as it’s way too early but he’s won 3 in over 20 now which isn’t good enough. We’ve had 2 very winnable fixtures and got 0 points. Today we looked a lot better but only because the team he chose last week (his first choice) were so bad he was forced to try something else. There has to come a cuttoff point when a managers winning 10 percent of games that enoughs enough. I’d give him till Xmas as this is his team now but we have to start winning games. I hope he proves me wrong but I’m beginning to think he’s out of his depth. Why oh why today did he take off Woods.

I disagree. The manager's substitutions and tactical changes were very poor today. However, I do agree that Gregory looks a good signing and if we can play at that tempo (while eliminating the defensive softness) then I'm sure things can turn around pretty quickly.

Arrived on the messageboard to expect a twattish thread like this and not disappointed. Did any of you watch the game? We should have been running away with this game except for another unexplicable major error from our England keeper, and some nervous finishing. If we are "unlucky" after ten games then I will say fair enough but we saw enough to see the oil tanker of dark depressing perofrmances was slowly changing today.

Not about continually playing dire football against poor opposition. I assume your a stats lover. Or you don't understand football.

The fact that you mention ‘dire’ football in relation to today’s performance means you’re either blind or you didn’t watch the game.

Potters lot thrashed Watford away! The Board don't half make some bad choices. We should have gone all out to get him. I suggest a phone call on the quiet to Chris Hughton before its too late.

I'm not quite sure what the woodwork was doing when there players managed to score 3!!!! Oh yes, that's right, they kept it under head height and showed some composure!!
