IMHO, it isn't forwards we need, it's two midfielders...one who can attack aka Brynjar and one linking defence aka Salif.
We have defenders who can score and at least three in Fuller, Cresswell and Lawrence who can pop them in regularly. Add a midfielder like Brynjar and we'd be blown in.

Bryn would be ace in this team.

Agreed, Merk. He and Salif would make me salivate with anticipation. Either that or I would wet my pants at the thought of watching them both in the same team alongside that other great, Lawrence. OS.

wonder if salif will ever arrive, could become the first january signing perhaps. Wonder if Eustace would look like his old self with a more competant midfielder behind him, allowing him to attack occasionally

Can Salif sign anytime with him being a free agent?

Where's the talk of Gunnarsson come from? Isn't he a regualr in the Reading team? He would be a good signing though.

Gunnarsson signed a new 2.5yr deal at Reading this year.
I wonder why he suddenly went crap at Forest and during his brief 2nd spell here?

Bayern, re Brynjar, it's just wishfull thinking. No way we'll get him back but he's the type of player we need.
