He’d be about 458th on my list. I fear NJ will do his own version of retail therapy with this, to compensate missing put on Gayle. Step away from the credit card Nathan. Out of interest, who's #457 and #459? Afobe and Vokes?

This is a particularly depressing link, whether true or not.
The problem is that we feel as if in some strange limbo between the diamond and systems NJ is trying to get away from. But we ain’t got the fundamental components of the diamond, so it’s like watching a bird with an injured wing.
The result is that all of these links feel a bit empty, because they won’t impact our deficiencies. So, strangely I feel little different about Hogan and Gayle, while fully recognising the former is abject and the latter rather good.
Klopp had the right idea. He needed a CB and got the one he wanted. He needed a GK and got the one he wanted. He prioritised the deficiencies. We need Rico Henry, Mo Besic and we need Scott Hogan about as much as Hulk Hogan.

Campbell will find it difficult to endure 90 minutes Championship football without being given that chance We should persevere with him imo

The No.1 Villa reporter says it's happening. Blimey. Well that escalated quickly I can't say I've seen a great deal of him. What type of striker is he? Don't say a shit one 😂

I’ll only panic if Percy confirms it. Villa fans think this guy is on a par with Percy. Recently moved to the Athletic from the Brum Mail. It's definitely happening!

We’re still a rich club. How have we devolved to this level of wank already?! Can Jones not manage ego’s? Its because regardless of popular opinion, we have wank owners.

The No.1 Villa reporter says it's happening. Blimey. Wow. He was garbage for Sheff U last season from memory. 7 in 56 games for villa. Similar striker to Afobe and Vokes. Really is not what we need.

Put yourself in the shoes of the people running the club, go on. Tie the laces, have a little strut up and down in them. Done? Now think again, he’s exactly what we need.

I'm clinging to his Brentford record, which is bloody excellent. www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scott-hogan/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/138783

You gonna like Hogan... he has pace and graft.
Not the worst loan option by any means!

On the plus side, means no Connor Wickham.
Yeah, I know, the straws are snapping when I clutch them.

I'm past caring who we sign, to be honest. We seem to be capable of turning most of them to shit, and telling them to play where they never have.
I asked the other day if it was Jones or the players who was responsible for our demise and some said both; I fear they may be right.
The trouble is, we can't bin half the squad and its way to soon to sack the manager. I have to admit that I have only slightly more confidence in Jones than Rowett, though.
