"As well as scoring against Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City"
Well that made me pause, take in something which now sounds almost other worldly, and wipe a tear from my eye.
Bojan the wonder waif really has gone :-(

Tragic. An amazing talent and such a shame it hasn’t worked out. Must have been hard for him to sit on the bench every week last season watching the shit that was getting on ahead of him. Best of luck Bojan.

Best outcome for everyone. Time to move on. There is obviously a circus that surrounds Bojan, from the pro-Bojan fans and the anti-Bojan fans alike. One thing I will reiterate from my previous post, however, is that he's better than any other player we have in the squad in that area of the pitch. It should be as simple as that for me personally. If he was given a fair crack and didn't produce then I'd be the first to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong, but that simply hasn't happened. It leaves a particularly sour taste when the likes of Afobe, McClean, Clucas (admittedly looked better this preseason and against QPR), Ince etc. have all been given chance after chance, but have under-performed. They still retain their place in the squad every week.

Good point, possibly freed, half, reduced or still full wage. Land of assume it’s not full wage as you might as well still have him here - from the clubs perspective. Unless NJ just wanted him out and prefer not to have the distraction. If he was still at the club next week and we lose at Charlton then we all know who the fans would be clamouring to have back. He's the one person whose name the fans would start chanting after a few dodgy results. Better to have him out of the equation at all costs. I'm sure he will have got a very good deal out of it. A continuation of the last six month’s results for a few more games, and I think you could be hearing the olé chants resurrected anyway. It will be the go to protest anthem. Depressing news for those who like to see a bit of class alongside the water carriers and piano movers.

Inevitable but gutted. Good luck El Magico.
And for the final time in response to an earlier post on this thread
HE CAME BACK JUST AS FUCKING GOOD AFTER HIS INJURY AT ROCHDALE, THAT WAS IN JAN 2015, HE WAS PART OF THE BMX WITH SHAQ AND ARNIE THAT DESTROYED CHELSEA, MAN UTD, MAN CITY, DREW WITH ARSENAL, THEN THE BLITZ AT EVERTON AT CHRISTMAS 2015/NEW YEAR 2016 (the last time I think we played well as a team....)
FOR FUCKS SAKE, STOP CHANGING HISTORY, OR GO AND SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR FUCKING APPALLING MEMORY ISSUES
Cheers :-)

Good luck for the future Bojan, and thank you for the entertainment and skill that you provided. In my opinion you are one of the most naturally gifted players to have worn a Stoke shirt in the last forty years. I wish that the current management had given you half the chances to prove yourself that the unskilled individuals that we saw last Saturday keep getting.

Wank Stoke, just wank.
What a fucking shit week. Looking forward to vastly inferior players labouring to a series of tame defeats as per the last few seasons.

Good luck Bojan, you were wonderful for a couple of seasons and a shame how it ended really. Contributed to our greatest footballing period of all time, in my opinion and I hope he goes on to revitalise his career.
Hopefully we can keep on topic and not resort to arguing about him. That would be nice for a change.

All the best Bojan, seemingly treated differently than others at the club, he should have been played much, much more and been kept when other have stayed. All the more poignant now with a team full of players lacking creativity, ingenuity and something different.
We will miss that big genuine smile, it’s been a pleasure to watch him play for Stoke, even though for much of the last years his thinking has been so far ahead of the players around him that he’s not been appreciated. Good luck for the future.

I thought that he needed to move on and I think that this is the right decision, but I'm sad that it came to this and I'm sad that he's leaving.
Looking back on it, the all-too-brief Bojan renaissance is one of the few really memorable parts of Hughes' time here, when it seemed we really were about to push on.

I feel like I’ve been disembowelled.
What a fucking wank club we really are.
Don’t care now, lost interest in this season already, couldn’t give a fuck where we end up.
He was our final link to the glory days and now he’s gone, and we’re left with nothing but dreary uninspiring shit and Joe Allen.
God willing.

Weird that it came to this. Would love to know just what has stopped him from breaking through under 3 different managers.
And there we go, just another bang average Championship club once more.

We’ve even given him a pathetic Twitter send off as well.
It’s as if we’ve just released a youth player.
Shambolic, shameful, and predictable.
I can’t stand anything about this club at the moment, anything.

One of the biggest shames of this century at Stoke was the way he was treated. Spare me the injury guff too, or that three sacked managers and one with a 9% win rate can’t be wrong. We have eyes, we saw how much better he made the side. This.
