Rightly criticised on here in the second half of last season but what a difference he made off the bench today.
Surely has to start next week?

We need to find a place for him in the first team.

Powell and Ince should be starting.
Most Championship clubs, if not all, would do anything to have them both in their starting 11.

I was critical of his inclusion instead of Verlinden today (mainly because I thought he wasn't fit enough) but certainly seemed to make a big difference today so credit to him.

Credit where due, made a big difference but did pull out of an aerial dual in the middle of the field, a few yards outside their box, where it was at least 60/40 in his favour. Don't question his skill and capability, it's his commitment and lack of bravery that concerns me.

I thought the same, but I dont think it's as simple as that. remember the opposition had decided to change tact and defend their lead by then All the words of unity and determination from the club and we get the same old display piss me off On saying that, I'm sure the manager will iron out all the probs eventually.....hopefully 🤪

We never upgraded him is the problem. Fine with him going, not fine with him being replaced by Cousins.

They’d have snapped your hand off for 0-0.

I was pleasantly surprised at the difference he made when he came on. Really got stuck in, seemed fired up and wanted to make things happen.

He started off well enough last season. If he’s fit and firing then he has to play.

The manager needs to use the talent he has to best effect and not keep trying to shoehorn it into some wired and wonderful tactical system. If you can’t get a tune out of the likes of Ince, Allen, Powell, Voakes, etc at this level there is something severely wrong.

To be fair he has done well in the past when coming on as a sub.
He's just shite when he starts.

People complain about a lack of pace in the side and this lad has it. At least he's direct and actually runs at people even if a bit on the lightweight side. You could see how the QPR defenders stood off him in the last 15 mins. They were more wary of him than anyone else in the side.

Don't like him at all but fuck me it has to be him, Powell and Verlinden as the 3 in a 4231. Ince would be even better if he wasn't the sole outlet and that's what powell and verlinden would offer.

As one of his biggest critics, we were miles better when he came on. Perhaps this is the season where he reproduces his Derby/Blackpool form.

Never received much love since joining us and has disappeared in games BUT has quality and creativity that we lack elsewhere in the squad. Must be 442 with this current squad, we must sign a left back and Ince must start.

I believe he's our most dangerous forward. He has pace, is direct and can finish. We know he can be a bit nesh in the tackle but for me he causes other teams more problems than anyone else we have. Plus playing Derby the week after being his old club. Whom he scored the winner against last season.

If we're going to play with one of the forwards running the channels, it should be him (or at least him over Afobe).
It was a system that worked all right yeaterday. Two or three times Afobe got into decent areas, but then the problem was he was not good enough to take advantage of the oppurtunity.
Ince got into the same areas and looked dangerous.

He’s our best footballer and our best attacking threat.
You’ve got to be a moron to have Ince your squad and not play him or play to his strengths.....

He’s our best footballer and our best attacking threat. You’ve got to be a moron to have Ince your squad and not play him or play to his strengths..... That's why Ince has to play on the right of a three. Ergo certainly no diamond and almost certainly no Vokes.
