They counted the Powell shot that went wide and the times we put the ball across to nobody as 'good chances' though... |

If that Powell volley had have gone in, it would have gone up there with some of the all time best goals we have scored! I saw on another thread that we had 13 shots, I can barely remember 3/4. |

I saw enough positives to believe that we are starting this season with more confidence and a better approach than we had last season. In spells (throughout the entire game) we pressed very effectively, causing them to make mistakes and making them play at our pace rather than allowing them to dictate the tempo. I didn't see much to make me believe that we know what to do in and around their penalty area, though. And Thanks Rob for making the game available. |

Collins looking the part at 6:26, 15:16, 37:48 and 1:02:57 Other than that I thought the referee was weak, let them hack at Powell all game without repercussion.

I watched it in Thailand, and thought MacLean and Cousins were better than some posts suggests.A cock up by Butland and central defender going to sleep, cost us.The second goal was very good and if we had scored that, we would be singing the player,s quality, not blaming Qpr defence.Overall we are desperate to go on a 3 games winning streak, as we are forgetting how to win.Heads will roll if we cannot do that with 8 new signings.Did Qpr have about 12 ???? |
