Vokes is only 19 so he'll only get better!
Wait a moment.. he's 29.. why on Earth we signed him?
Bye bye 9 mill plus wages.

Grab a goal lol don't make me laugh. Total fraud has a striker ........well can I even say he was a striker Eleven goals in the Premier League in a season (34 games) suggests he was. Not sure any of our new signings will have that on their cv any time soon. Why you feel the need to rubbish a good team player who got ridiculously got moved to right back, but still uncomplainingly and successfully gave 100 % for the team, I don’t know. How many of those came off his arse, terrible footballer

I haven't read all the thread but anyone know why Diouf is out of favour? He's more likely to grab a goal than any of Nath's awful signings. Grab a goal lol don't make me laugh. Total fraud has a striker ........well can I even say he was a striker Wasn’t he our top scorer for a season in the Prem?

Some say mame Diouf controls a ball like a hot potatoe. I disagree.
Mame diouf controls the ball like a hot potato whilst the hot potatoe is attacking him.
How on earth can a pro football player have such awful control? The guy trains 5 times a week

To be honest, would he get anywhere near the 18?
At his best, he was a decent player. But he's not what he was and has added very little in recent seasons.
We've already got about 24 players of about the same standard who'll expect to be in the 18 every week.
Adding another won't get us anywhere - although what he and Ngoy will actually be doing until January is anyone's guess?
Mowing the training ground pitches? Working in the canteen? Maybe they could be the new Pottermus and Pottermiss?

I wonder if a new manager would look to play Diouf.
With a bit of encouragement we might get him back to being the striker who scored goals in the Prem.

Here we go again. Why can't we just move on. He wasn't good enough and last season was blowing out his arse within 10 mins of playing. If we are after ways to improve playing Diouf isn't one of them. Yes he did well under Hughes got few season but he's not that player anymore.

I rather fear than Diouf has "gone" both physically and mentally. That even happens to previously very good players. Sad, but move on.

You mean bang it up to a big bloke up top with a 50p shaped head? Now, if only there was a role for that which someone could harness... <smiley thing>

Not certain but would think Diouf has scored more premier league goals than the rest of our strikers added together suggests he isn’t the worst option , him and Gregory or him and Campbell could at least keep defenders running and turning

I think we are just grasping at straws.... Basically there's no straws there to grasp so we're just imagining straws... Straws... Who will buy my straws....
Etc etc etc. We are just shit, really

We don’t look to buy players on the up, develop and then sell for profit. Who was the last player we signed and genuinely improved as a footballer. I honestly can’t remember. Arnie always had the talent he just needed to harness it. Everyone else either gets old or gets worse. We are a fucking graveyard for footballers, albeit a very high paying one.

Does that mean he is being reintegrated or not. It doesn’t answer the question. We are aware he hasn’t gone but it doesn’t say anything about what’s going to happen now...

Diouf future at Stoke? NJ: He’s a great lad and there’s no problem with him, we just wanted to move forward and we told certain players that, like him.
= It's nothing personal against him, but we wanted to improve as a football club.
We told them in May to give them a chance to find clubs.
= He's had four months to find another victim, but failed.
Mame is unfortunate no-one came in for him, so he’s still here. And Julien Ngoy.[/quote]
= Noone wants him, not even we, but he's still here ...
