I'm sure if Nath doesn't want to integrate him he will personally pick up the tab for Diouf's wages as a gesture of god's will goodwill.

He easily has the best leap of any of our strikers. He is probably more accurate with his head than his feet. He is also quicker than the others Quicker at what? Falling over the ball? Oh no, that was Dave Regis - they all look the same to me .... "They" 🤔

He is still at the club, because nobody else wants him. Not at the £2m we were asking plus his wages, no. Free transfer and a hit on his wages he'd be gone. Good work Scholes. If anyone would have agreed to pay his wages he'd have gone for nothing. I can't believe you think otherwise

I haven't read all the thread but anyone know why Diouf is out of favour?
He's more likely to grab a goal than any of Nath's awful signings.

Not sure any of our new signings will have that on their cv any time soon. Why you feel the need to rubbish a good team player who got ridiculously got moved to right back, but still uncomplainingly and successfully gave 100 % for the team, I don’t know.

His Cv is that impressive they are rushing to take him on Are you forgetting that he got pushed out to right wing back and prior to that right wing? Where he really wasn't that bad in a solid side. We are now weak, slow and incumbent. He isn't defensive enough for the shit we are serving up, however he was ok as a right wing back right? It's all a bit odd. Hard working, pacey, offers options from the bench at the very least and is much better than any of our current strike force by record. His confidence is shot but if he played a full pre season or went out in Lian he could get that back... Anyway, Afobe, Bojan, Moting, all pretty much making a mockery of our system. I dare not mention Pieter's, he would be so far ahead of any other option at left back. Oh well... We are shit, so let's just be happy with shit *shrugs*. Honestly I'd rather diouf and a new manager then no diouf and Jones, but you can probably put any name in there.

Most of our players are untransferable because we give silly contracts out. Diouff’s not the worst player in our squad. There’s now lots of competition.

When we went down I thought Diouf would do great as he in many ways is a typical Championship striker, but he wasn't given a lot of chances though. I actually think he would have outscored Afobe if given the chance, but I guess we'll never know now.

Total fraud has a striker ........well can I even say he was a striker Disagree. Diouf was decent striker - watch his goal in the 6-1 thrashing of Liverpool. Hughes messed him up, along with a lot of other players like Pieters, when he tried to convert him into a wing back, and play three at the back. That was the start of the big decline of several players and the team as a whole.

What a fucking ridiculous decision to get rid of him.

People calling him a fraud... short memories! Did well in 1st season here, not bad 2nd. Never been the same after his personal troubles, and destroyed by Hughes unhealthy obsession of playing him at RB. A fraud doesn’t score the premier league goals he did. He’s just lost his way. Sure he’s the only player on our books to score double fighters in a prem season?!
