U18 Squad GK - Nathan BroomeGK - Paul Cooper GK - Maksy Boruc DF - Lewis Macari DF - Mohamed Akandji DF - Kieran CoatesDF - Henry Nash DF - Julius Ndene DF - Tom Nixon DF - Jamie Melbourne MF - Adam Porter MF - Dan Malone MF - Pat Jarrett MF - Soiyir Sanali MF - Ibrahim DoucoureMF - Tom Sparrow WG - Reece JonesWG - Jai Verma WG- Kev Fernandes FW - Ethan VarianFW - Ruben Gardner-McIntosh First Year Second YearSo the U-18s look pretty well set and should hopefully have a good year with a lot playing higher up in the 23s and a lot coming from the younger ages to play at this level. Akandji was strangely linked with Chelsea in the summer, no idea if he's moved but the people who watch the 18s regularly who I asked couldn't see why they would and when I've seen him, I wouldn't label him as a potential Chelsea player but hey what do we know. Fully expect to see Broome, Coates, Macari, Jarret, Porter, Malone and Varian step up to the u23s or go out on loan at some point too. No idea if Dillon Keane is still here/ever got here. He's an American we signed last year and I don't think he ever featured. www.stokecityfc.com/news/youngsters-pen-scholarship-formswww.polsatsport.pl/wiadomosc/2019-01-10/boruc-podpisal-kontrakt-ze-stoke-city/The goalie Boruc appears to be the Cousin of Artur. So Paul Cooper and Tom Sparrow have been given a scholarship a year early. I've never really known us do this. So they'll be playing the age over what they're meant to be. www.stokecityfc.com/news/u15s-duo-handed-early-scholarshipsU23 SquadGK- Josef Bursik GK - Adnan Kanuric GK - Blondy Nna Noukeuand RB-Tre Pemberton RB/LB-Max Murphy CB-Harry Souttar CB-Nathan Collins CB-William Forrester CB-Scott Wara CB- Ash Kigbu FB-Vazoumana Karamoko - no idea if he's still here or not tbh LB/LW- Cameron McJannett LB-Ryan Corrigan DM-Jake Dunwoody DM-Lasse Sorensen DM-Rachid Balde CM- Danny Jarvis CM-Oliver Shenton WG-Thibaud Verlinden WG-Abdoulaye Toure ST- Julien N'Goy ST-Tyrese Campbell ST-Gabriel Kyeremateng ST-James Jennings ST-Abdul Sankoh So I've done this based on who was offered a contract and presuming they've signed. I've left the likes of Collins etc in for now as I think they'll end up sold or out on loan so won't be part of the first team squad. Obviously last year was a great year for a good number of these and imo Collins, Souttar, Verlinden and Campbell should be in the first team squad and used regularly. With us not being in the Autoglass Trophy (or whatever it's called) I think loans are going to be the order of the day for a lot of these players. Jennings had a good season for Market Drayton last year and needs to move up the pyramid with his next move. He could be one to look out for. It'd be good to see Pemberton out on loan too. He's done really well for the u23s but hasn't had a loan yet, he deserves that chance to show what he can do. Bursik is another one who needs another loan imo unless he's going to be third choice 'keeper. Jarvis, Shenton and Dunwoody too need a good loan. And if Sorensen isn't going to be used then I'd like to see him being loaned to a league club. He's a bloody good player. The squad looks light in numbers so I would imagine we will sign a few players and move a lot of the u18s up too as the younger groups coming through are only getting better and better. Mo Sankoh who is still technically only in the u16 squad should get games at this level too. We haven't got him tied to a pro deal so I can't imagine he'll be here for long but if we can get him signed up then credit to the club. As ever if I've missed anything then please let me know oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/280602/stoke-city-development-academy-thread

Worryingly Mo Sankoh is still in the u16 squad and hasn't signed a pro deal with us yet.
If we can convince him we're the place to be then the club have done well. He's an exceptional talent and if he carries on the way he is then he could be on the first team bench this season with any luck!

Genuinely don't know.

We’ve got another Sankoh now too. Probably Mo’s brother Abdul (19 year old striker, released by Sparta Rotterdam)
