Can still remember the chants of Waddington Out emanating from the Boothen Me too, so vividly and thinking how they could do that. I think that broke him. He used to cut a sad figure walking up and down Nantwich Rd in Crewe and every time I passed him all I could hear in my head were the Stokies singing "Waddington out". Was so ashamed to be a Stoke fan.

Was so ashamed to be a Stoke fan. Used to see him also for brief time I lived in Audlem. Sunday afternoon in the Brunswick was his haunt. Would sit on the wall walking home on Nantwich Rd, head down. Was very young but my Dad always pointed him out on way home from Sunday Dinner. Think he lived on Rd called Manor Way.
