They look shite like the woeful Palace ultras and every other hipster bunch trying to be different but being the same cringey thing. Such a lazy and unfounded criticism. Have you actually seen what the Palace ultras look like compared to the lads n lasses in the South East corner? Yours is a mindless comment. Freedom of speech is ace mate but it's a shame to waste it with such nonsense. Win games you say. Obviously ffs. So obvious you don't need to keep saying it. But even you have suggested previously atmosphere creation in a two way street. The folk in the corner are a diverse and humble bunch trying against hope to add a little bit more life to matchday. My 13 year old nephew and his mates love it in there. Beats the reactionary/ phone-obsessed/ IRA stuff they've found elsewhere. A far cry from the masked, military operation of those Holmesdale fanatics you've lumped them in with. Perhaps post less and think more? The Palace lot seem like a bunch of wet lettuces?

Thought the 1863 boys did a decent job at the Fulham game, keep up the good work chaps. Bit of friendly advice though, that "woke up this morning" chant needs dropping.

I think those involved in setting it up deserve a lot of credit. They were mocked and ridiculed by some on here for what they were doing. Good to see people finally appreciating their work now.

It's getting better as time goes on. Is the singing pretty constant? I sit in block 28 and can't really hear apart from when really gets going.

Looked impressive from the boothen lads and lasses, keep it up as anything that improves the atmosphere is a good thing in my eyes.

We sit in there now, not for the singing we just wanted 8 seats together but have to say don't regret it at all after being in the boothen since it opened, those lads are always trying to get things going and it might not be heard by the rest of the stadium but it's not for the want of trying!
First time I've heard the boothen sing this season from over here.

Looked like numbers were up yesterday aswell? Keep it going lads 👊 Glad they decided to put a skeleton staff on at the catering. Solved the tricky problem of what to do at half time as I had to queue for 20 mins to get 2 bottles of water.

Cant comment Rawli as I haven't sat in the corner, however the club needs to work with these guys and provide a strong experience. Personally I dont buy anything in the ground I park on the Rugby Club and have my drinks/food in there.

I usually head for a beer around 42 minutes and never wait long.

Who ever thinks pouring pints to order is a good idea is a fucking tit.

What about those who fancy a pie or a burger or chips are they tits? If they offer the service they should run it accordingly!

No, but the way you phrase ordering pints to order seems to be having ago and people ordering beer? If that isn't the case accept my apologies but that's the way it reads to me.

The Unita 1863 initiative definitely isn't everybody's idea of a better match day experience I can understand bayerns opposing opinion of it completely there was a time when we didn't need a singing section "Ultras" and banners and flags to make an atmosphere and be one of the loudest grounds in England maybe I'm just old school in my way of thinking regarding the atmosphere and match day experience.

We didn't need it when we were packing the ground out and playing some of the bigger teams, those occasions are usually enough to galvanise and unite the crowd without much prompting. Sadly we don't have those occasions very often any more so you could argue that we need something to get things going again. Whether it'll work or not who knows but they're having a good time and not harming anyone.

The name still doesn't sit right with me. I know it's part of the motto, but that's the problem - it's only part. Taken in the context as a whole it's fine and works, but alone it's just United 1863. It should really be Civitas 1863 if you want to go down the Latin route or Burgtún 1863 if you want to honour our Mercian ancestors.

Just wondering whatever happened to this?
I like the idea of it.
Great for teenagers and young adults to have the chance of bringing something tribal / different to a match.
English football has no real appeal for groups of young lads (and a-sexuals) to attend en masse with their mates anymore.
Football is a young mans (and non binary) game and the younger generations need to be encouraged.

Has this group been dispanded?
It would be a shame if it has. They put a lot of hard work into it and got some momentum going.
