Just seen this, very creepy. Written and directed by the bloke who plays Garth Marenghi, too

That looks pretty good. The scariest one in the original was the one with the bugs.

Reading about the new Halloween movies. Releasing in 2020 and 2021 filmed back to back and meant to be a trilogy, 2018-2020-2021. Curious how they will position the story into a trilogy and have it be concluded properly.
Also read so much hatred for Rob Zombie's Halloween duo! I actually quite enjoyed the first one, second one is a fucking trippy film but I'm all for artistic expression and new takes on material.

Just plain bad. In fairness, this was even worse: Craig Fairbrass did a film called Darklands which was set in Wales and had some Pagan culty stuff going on: Kill List was a lot better, was definitely channelling Hammer Horror and The Wicker Man:

Hi Rob, I've just discovered your horror thread because it popped up at the top of the "Everything Else" listing. There is a touch of horror at the end of The Perdix Project. I was writing a techno-thriller and never intended to have any horror in it, but as I was getting towards the end, it seemed appropriate. When you get to the end [if you get to the end :-) ] please let me know if you think it works well or whether it is pathetically weak and ought to be edited out. Many thanks for the purchase, Teddy. "The Perdix Project" by Stoke author, Teddy Tunstall It was priced at £4.99, but for a limited period it is on special offer at £1.99p. For less than the price of a pint, you can enjoy a few hours engrossed in an intriguing mystery with mind-expanding, sci-fi thought experiments, good, solid detective work and a James Bond-style action packed ending. You can read the whole of chapter one and a good bit of chapter two for free. See the "Look inside" link just above the photograph of the book cover - but they don't really capture the flavour of the book. After chapter five it becomes a gripping detective story with intriguing clues followed by a thrilling ending. You don't need a Kindle to read the novel. There is a link to download a free app that lets it be read on any device. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SJNP9S4

p.s. - you might like chapter 8 as well - "Darkness".
I called it "Darkness" because it is a bit dark.
Regards, Teddy
