I had a veggie burger last night but with (real) bacon. Will I get prosecuted? Technically not a veggie burger just an extra layer of bread with your bacon bap by my thinking 🤔 Indeed All about the bacon

I knew that my name would be mentioned First of all I don't stream the matches from my own computer or anything like that so nothing is directly traceable to me. The difference here between me and others like ones that stream on Facebook is that I'm not doing it off my own back which brings me onto my second point. Rabb.it has existed for at least 6 years and people have been using this site to stream Netflix and shows like Game of Thrones (the most pirated thing on the planet) this means that when I stream through this site, a lot of the 'blame' that would fall on others would then fall on Rabb.it as they are the ones technically streaming the match through their virtual machines. I'd also like to point out that for 9 months I streamed every single match on Rabb.it and not one thing happened, so until otherwise I think we're good. We'll see come start of the season.

Thanks Rob, good to know that you will continue the great service for those of us who can’t get to the match

I'm pretty sure thevies and drug dealers don't make complaints about someone knicking their stuff.

Police used (at great expense to the taxpayer) to protect the interests of hugely wealthy corporations, most of whom do everything they can to get out of paying any taxes. All businesses, large or small, look to minimise the amount of tax they pay as any Finance Director will tell you. Any retailer you care to mention will be doing exactly that however it doesn't make shoplifting jsutifiable nor does it mean you won't be prosecuted if caught. That said I very much doubt that a great deal of the force's time will be given over to policing low level streaming - any more than it ever was (or is) to people who copied CD's or DVD's from or for their mates. However if they get wind that someone is effectively running a business by illegally streaming content they will act. And rightly so. They periodically put out these warning as a reminder to people just what the law is - and to remind us that their door is always open to anyone with a score to be settled by grassing someone up.

Bt claimed the Europa and champions league final are free to air on the app, if you read the T&C it state not for commercial use or any direct or indirect financial gain. I got a photo of a BT sport spotter snooping in a pub taking photos. If they are sending people out again they will be monitoring everything

Due to visits solicitors letters etc in the past, behaviour is dead give away. He took photos of signage outside to prove he’d been to the premises and was in. Has was there less than 7 minutes checked out every room bought a drink and never touched it. If I can load his mugshot up from cctv I will

I'm pretty sure that sharing illegal sports streams has always been illegal and people could always be prosecuted for it....very few people have been though (unless they've made money out of it) It's said every year that they'll clamp down for the start of the season (even going back to the days when just sopcast was around)....and fuck all is actually done. Isn't even newsworthy. Wasn't there a bloke from Pakistan living in Stoke got done the other week it was in the sentinel pretty sure he got jail time

Oh yeh show 3pm games on TV and watch the crowds drop. Great idea ! Pretty sure that won’t happen, most fans who watch streams tend to watch away games that they can’t attend. Live football is shown in Germany for example and the attendances don’t suffer. The 3pm rule is outdated and needs updating. I would quite happily pay a subscription to watch games I couldn’t normally attended.
