Despite the Macron relegation curse ive had both tops this year which is very rare. I also brought one of the training tops in the sale last week and on all 3 the quality is well above any other in recent history.
My home top still looks new despite me having it since it went on sale which never happens the sponsers and such have always started to peel and they always get pulled.
That said if it aint green and black stripes next season i will be pissed even green pinstipe on a black shirt will do.

Stoke would drop macron like a brick if they had a better offer on the table so hopefully they will have Based on what? How exactly do you drop a manufacturer you have a deal with for 2 more seasons?

Some kits are better quality than others but they are mostly all made in third world countries sweat shops for about £2, then resold here for £45 or whatever. A scandal that is repeated by the retail clothing trade in the UK on a massive scale. The poor sods making them in terrible conditions are meanwhile living in abject poverty. TOTAL RIP OFF.

I understand that, but if they were made in this country for probably closer to a tenner each then we’d be paying upwards of £70 for a top and most fans would be priced out of buying one. Think how much a kids whole kit would cost that costs about £80 now.

Our new away kit is black and will have the Macron logo on but just with the little man, not the Macron wording. We’ll be wearing the new home kit on Sunday. So expect the kit to be shown on the website sometime this week.

Unless you’ve got factual evidence you’re talking through your backside. RIP off yes (don’t buy) but I’ll tell you first hand that “most” major suppliers source from factories that would put UK factory standards to shame.

My elder brother has already worn one. Stoke went to Gladstone where he works and took some photos of him wearing it whilst he threw some pots by hand.
He isn't interested in football so couldn't give me any ideas of what it was like.

I'm not into S&M but I could describe a gimp mask if someone made me wear one.

New Balance for instance are made in their Thailand premises, far from a sweat shop but are cheaper to manufacture and makes business sense. I think you'll find most clothes on high streets are made that way as you say , can't see the problem. Easy to call places sweat shops because they are in Asia etc when is completely not true. Can we have evidence of the terrible conditions and the poor sods making them as simply isn't happening with sport manufacturers in this day and age. New Balance for instance have a multi million pounds purpose built premises .....unless you read The Sun etc and believe that kind of nonsense

There’s more (or was more) sweat shops” through the supply chain in Leicester. There were certainly no zero hour contracts!!

New Balance as I mentioned as so often people just see Asia/Thailand and jump to conclusions are anything but. This kind of thing certainly did happen and like yourself had serious hands on experience but this kids working for 3p a day idea that many assume isn't an issue today with Sport's manufacturers. Matchwinner which we used previously did have issues I remember and the quality showed but we're talking 30 years ago

Matchwinner which we used previously did have issues I remember and the quality showed but we're talking 30 years ago I worked for a company that directly employed approximately 15000 staff across Indonesia, Malaysia and North Africa as well as sourcing from third party suppliers in the same and other countries. We were major suppliers to household brands like NIKE, Adidas, GAP, Ralph, leading UK high street brands and famous football clubs Our standards were always compliance with local labour, safety and environmental laws or UK, whichever were the highest. It goes without saying that we had a number of implementation plans for different identified non-compliance’s at different factories all of which were closely monitored and which provided verifiable continual improvement. Unlike the American brands that would ditch a supplier if a few workers (children) were identified we actively gave them a type of apprenticeship i.e. three days in school, 2 days learning a skill. Many people don’t understand that in many cases children work because they are in fact the “bread winners” for the family. We actively employed many disabled persons wherever possible and did an enormous amount of work with NGO’s, local communities and charities. Cheap throw away comments like “sweatshops” are generally so ill informed!!

Like I said, so many just see Asia/Thailand/Malaysia and jump to conclusions. They don't realise that such a manufacturing plant can change a whole province and it's entire future....well done on the good work
