What's happened to him? Has he left while i wasn't watching? There's been a lot of talk on here about young players lately but no mention of him and nothing in the press either?

Okay. Looked decent in the tiny bit I've seen of him. But no one seems to mention him

Yeah broken foot. Hopefully next season will see him on loan as well as Jarvis. Its a shame we haven't been able to see more of these two in the squad.

After watching him in the Swansea game last season I really had high hopes for him. I actually thought he would compete for that anchor position in our midfield. Unfortunately he was given very little playing time under Rowett before he got injured, but there is certainly a good young player there for us.

Has he come home or is he off to the painted hills?

At times this season he has been available but not had a sniff? Think he'll be next out of the door on loan to a shrewsbury myself

Be a decent move that he should get plenty of game time.....

Wonder how much longer he has on his contract? Needs games so he can prove what level he's at.

St Johnstone fan in peace here.
What type of midfielder is Sorenson?
We've started playing a midfield 3 with one sitting and the other two having the freedom to get forward, so that would be the two roles he'd be expected to fill.
One of our first choice players is out for 6-8 weeks so he'd get a chance to stake his claim.

Don't think too many people have seen him play, so don't be surprised if any view held isn't entirely accurate (including my own). From what I've seen he's a play it safe midfielder with decent energy and pretty mobile. I'd have imagined DM position would suit him best, followed by a box to box role. I'd like to see him get into the squad next year as a potential bench player, but he needs a spell out on loan to show what level he's at now.

Composed and good on the ball, with a decent delivery from free kicks.

Thanks for the feedback.
Heres hoping he can be a success if he comes, we have a bit of a mixed time with young loans from English clubs. Biggest success we had was Medhi Abeid from Newcastle, who was incredible. Last season we had Sean Goss from QPR, who was well out his depth.

I would have give Sorensen the game time he was denied in place of Woods & Cousins.

He had a cameo for us, looked decent on the ball and for some unknown reason we haven't seen him since, hope he does well. Please keep us informed. If you're after a pacey, strong direct wideman that can play CF, you should make an effort to loan julien n'goy too. Criminally underused here imo and would probably rip it up in Scotland, he needs games at his age, his career is being stunted atm at scfc

He's quite capable of joining in with the fun further upfield, but because of his versatility he's somehow come to specialize in an anchor role. He's also a deadball specialist, although with the egos at scfc he rarely got the chance to show it. He's probably been a player of the future a bit too long now. If st johnstone've only signed him for cover, there will be some here quick to say he's a failure and he'll never make it.

Turns out we aren't signing him now. Apparently Stoke wanted financial penalties if he didnt play so St Johnstone have pulled out the deal.
Signing a young lad from Bournemouth on loan instead
