10 men for 80+ minutes, away game, decent point = good sound football management by any standard. But, weak opposition there for the taking and it was more back to the meh performances than moving ahead.
7 sound fair?

I don't think he could have done any more.
82 minutes with 10 men, and we had the one opportunity to nick it at the end. It was levelled up at the end but our players were chasing for the entire game.
Well done Stoke and Well done Nathan!

No shots on target, baffling sub with Williams. Settled for backs to the wall bus parking. Clucas forced his hand but I can't help think even if we had 11 men on the field our attacking intent would have been negligible. Etebo is so important at the moment.

These were the types of games that we’d have lost with a couple of mins to go in the past.

85 minutes with 10 men and not conceded, away from home, equals a 9 for me.
Well done lads, except that idiot Clucas.

9, not a lot more he could have done really, Williams was a strange one but credit to Jones it worked.

9 - The football isn’t there yet, but fitness, fight and organizational improvements are starting to show. We’re looking more like a team and less like a collection of disinterested individuals. There’s a long way to go, but a point away from home after being down to ten within minutes is a very decent effort. Signs of a slow and steady improvement.

Did well given then plan went tits up after 8 minutes.
Adam is still a key cog in the midfield. Edwards looks a like wilko mk2
Still unsure about ince though. However Shawcross looks almost reborn.

He went there not to lose and set up accordingly against a poor team. What happened at 8 minutes he couldn't do anything about but he showed absolutely no intent in testing them. The Williams sub was bollocks. I think 6 is fair with 7 shots on target and 2 shots in total in 90 minutes H

Game plan shafted by a moment of petulance, readjusted the set up and while we never really threatened neither did they. The Williams sub would have brought the roof down if it had gone wrong so he has to get the cudos when it works.

You surely can’t conclude on 8 mins evidence that his prime intent was to avoid defeat rather than to win. Williams for Adam was unexpected but it worked ok. Sometimes professional managers who work with players every day do know better than we do. The annoying thing is that 10 against 11 made it an even game. Had Clucas not let the manager down I think it is very likely we would have won, possibly quite comfortably.

It's a hard one to rate. 82 minutes with a man less is tough. QPR were useless and the Williams sub was crazy.
All said and done it is a good point away from home and it is still clear lines of progress for me. Batth and Shawcross look like they are forming a very good partnership, Edwards is improving game on game. It looks like Jones' ethos is being bullied into the current squad with every passing week.

Going down to 10 men after only 8 minutes gave the team a huge mountain to climb to come away with a point - and yet they did it fairly comfortably.
I had no problem with the subs. Adam needed to come off and I preferred Williams as replacement to either Woods or Fletcher, based on their form, or lack of it, this season. Diouf for Afobe made sense given the time Afobe had spent up front on his own.
I would not have brought on a 3rd sub. The back 4 and the midfield were defending well and taking off one of them for an extra attacker could well have cost us the point we deserved - and with 3 subs on, an injury would have put us down to 9 men - too big a risk.
A pragmatic and well deserved point in the circumstances. 8 from me.

10.
Going down to 10 men with a half left to play is one thing, but including injury time the lads had to see out 90 minutes a man down. That's a phenomenal effort, simply phenomenal.
His subs were spot on, not the ones I'd have made but they all did their jobs and for those saying we should've had a crack after Hall was sent off for them, give your head a wobble. They're having to give absolutely everything they have to defend when they're a man down, they physically don't have the energy to pressure the other team.

I've got a feeling we'll see it aired again before the end of the season but if nothing else, it at least shows that Jones values big destroyer types in front of his back four, instead of trying to hammer in Fletcher or Woods - which for me shows:
1) He's got a better brain than most. 2) we'll see a midfield overhaul in the summer and more than likely at long last some big t*** in front of that back four.

His game plan went out of the window after the early sending off. We looked solid with 10 men and were relatively untroubled.
He gave Charlie longer than I thought he would which was a positive. I was initially perplexed that he replaced him with Williams, but it seemed to work well.
Diouf for Afobe was also the right call.
That said QPR are absolutely woeful at the moment. I watched them at Brentford last weekend, and after a very dull first half they were played off the park. They were there for the taking today and I was looking forward to how we would do, Clucas’s stupidity obviously put pay to that.
Loved the chest thumping by Jones at the end, and although the Luton fans said we’d soon get bored of it I’m loving his attitude.
I’d also like to mention the pre match and half time warm ups. The coaches seem to be mixing it up and everyone looks enthusiastic, even old timers like Williams and Fletcher.
8* from me.

As soon as I saw McClean was starting it was obvious to me at least how we were approaching this game. Going down to 10 men just compounded it.
