Had an offer he can’t refuse from the KGB or the Stasi? Although to be fair, a man with a pair of binoculars near a sports club seems more likely to be a sex offender than a spy if you ask me.

If I understand correctly he said he's had every opponent 'spied' on at his request

Bielsa admits he's spied on ALL teams “I observed all the rivals we played against and watched the training sessions of all our opponents before we played against them.”

It’ll be along the lines of we see no reason to send one of our spies to Stoke, they were pathetic at Elland Road and basically gone from bad to worse despite spending funds I could only dream of.
I’ve had a word with my players and allowed them to go out Friday night as long they’re back at the team hotel for 04:00 I’m fine with that.
I’ve watched their back four closely and in all honesty they are very old and run like the funny clown men at the circus, the players in the middle of the park are very small and remind me of the little funny men at the circus but I think it’s wrong firing them out of cannons or cramming lots of them in a car. I am unable to comment on the forward players as I cannot see what they contribute yet but I understand that someone paid lots of money for them I think his name is Peter the Daft

Bielsa admits he's spied on ALL teams “I observed all the rivals we played against and watched the training sessions of all our opponents before we played against them.” that's blatent cheating, they should deduct the points they won and give them to the opposition. Not like an Argie to cheat now is it

Nothing will come of it. He'll be praised for his handling of the situation and they'll introduce a new rule, probably named after him because everyone's got their tongue up his arse. A minuscule fine will be the worst they'll get.

I back nathan jones but if we'd brought bielsa in a couple of years ago, like some of us on here suggested, we would be mid table premier league

I don't really see the problem with him looking into training sessions.

I don't really see the problem with him looking into training sessions. No issues with me, why would you not want to try and get an advantage?

I doubt it Will he stop organising such tactics? Maybe

Teams are constantly scouting each other out, whether it be checking out potential signings or future opposing teams. I bet there was at least 20-30 officials from other clubs at the game last night! Granted they likely ring ahead prior to the fixture and request tickets but it's been going on years & will continue to do so.
Yeah it could be deemed unethical & gaining an unfair advantage but while there's no rules there to break, crack on I say..
Leeds have seen an opportunity to gain a fine margin & it's likely been beneficial to them prior to getting busted. Other clubs are probably miffed they haven't been doing this themselves.. or maybe they have?!
If training grounds are off limits to prying eyes then suitably enclose them off & create a law/rule to make it clear it's not allowed.

That's how you should manage a football team - put in the effort to respect and understand your opponents and their usual style of play.
