We have had bad teams in the past who didn't have enough ability, but this team are totally different. They are without doubt the most lazy, spineless bunch of ''footballers'' we have ever had and what hurts the most is they have total contempt for the shirt they wear and the club that employs them. This is not an isolated incidence but a weekly problem. The club owners took their eye off the ball 3 years ago and this is the net result. In this era of football when a player is signed every aspect of their ability and character are supposed to be analysed, so the recruitment team has to take the blame for this. Most of the the players we have are not fit to wear the Stoke City shirt. I feel so sorry for Nathan Jones that he has inherited players of such poor character. Nathan Jones has been appointed to lift morale, improve fitness and the football that we play. He knows full well what he's taken on and has the desire and commitment to achieve his goals. He's had a huge pay increase to get the job done and has faith in his ability. We all need to remember that this is a mid to long term project and we won't see any major improvements for weeks.

What an absolute disgrace. There is no excuse for throwing a 2 goal lead away like that. That is unforgivable. There are players who are not playing for the shirt anymore. We are simply not good enough and I feel sorry for Tyrese Campbell scoring twice and then we lose it. Nathan Jones has a massive job on his hands here that was embarrasing. God help us on Saturday against Leeds United

Before we blame individual players, lets remember some of them are playing for their 4th manager in a relatively short space of time.
Players need time to adapt to the managers tactics, was it 15 games with Lambert, 26 games with Rowett and 2 games with Nathan, hardly stability is it?

Absolute disgrace. The players should refund the fans Why? I pay for entertainment, it was definitely entertaining. I don’t want a refund just because Stoke lost.

I blame the managers subs tonight, campbell comes of injuryed but then replaces him with mclean, changing the formation, instead of bringing on saido or Afobe, then when you see Etebo and adam tiring surely woods has to be the player coming on? And for a tiring team why not make all the subs.. positives adam, bauer, campbell all had decent games, and would love them all be in Saturday but doubt they will.

Anyone blaming the manager needs their head checking. The players and the player recruitment team. Jones has inherited an absolute shit show.. strap yourselves in guys! Hang on a minute, it was clear as day that he needed to freshen things up before they pulled one back. He did nothing, that's not good management. I'll give the guy as much time as he needs but he missed a trick their and it contributed towards the end result. That said the players were a fucking disgrace for the last half an hour......

3 goals conceded in ten mins against a team that sit 3 points from relegation in a division below. I'll tell you who's fault it is Coates - for sleeping 3 years ago when we all saw what was coming Scholes - what does he do that's good, fuck all Cartwright - wank waste of time Every single player and manager and coach for the last 3 years. This is as low as it fucking gets. We are wank. Spectacularly wank. Full of over paid wankers who are wank. Take it you like wanking👌

The players Stoke have are good players, in the vast majority of cases they will try their best for themselves, their team, the club and the supporters.
Lack of confidence, change of tactics, tension in the stadium among the supporters are likely to be the main reason for a some poor results.
Nathan said he had good players here, he saw no big egos and he believed they would buy into what he wanted, we have to be patient or we will make things worse.

I’m afraid the patience has run out with the players. If they at least look like they cared but we were still getting knobbed, we could at least try and rally them. However they quite clearly cannot be arsed to even keep themselves fit, they’re a disgrace to the club, a disgrace to themselves and a disgrace to their profession. They’ve been serving up this shit for almost three years now, bollock brained managerial appointments in that timeframe haven’t helped matters.

You said adapting to tactics. Tonight had nothing to do with tactics but everything to do with a bunch of unfit bottle merchants.

We have to constantly blame someone. Referees, players, formations, weather, decisions, those footballers have an accountability in their role. They have to show that they care and I dont think many do. It must be hard to keep picking yourself up from negativity.
We are in the deepest, shittiest rut we have been in for a long time.
We must pull together, we will stop falling at some point

This will not happen over night. I think Jones realizes he as a massive job on his hands he needs a complete clear out barring a few. lets give him time. this season is over for us I am afraid but let him build for next season.

Can't blame the new guy.
Just a culture of lazy scum who can't be bothered.
Let's get rid of majority & start again, though I just can't see the point as we've been through this all before then chucked it in the bin!

A group of gutless, spineless, unfit overpaid players. It takes a special sort of fucking idiot to spend a bastard fortune and actually make the wankers that formed last years squad worse. Weve not signed one bastard player that is any fucking good and I include Tom Ince in that. Absolute bunch of wankers. A disgrace to the shirt. They are wearing the same shirt as Dennis Smith, Alan Hudson, Howard kendal, mark chamberlain, mark stein, Mike Doyle, Johnny eustace, ricardo fuller, matty etherington, Robert Huth etc Ridiculous!!! Either we change the players or bring out a new stoke B team shirt

The game is 51% attitude and 49% talent
A bit like life then.
And if you haven't got the 51% right then you have no chance
