Feel sorry for any poor bastard going to this one (yes I know Shrewsbury has decent boozers). You just know we'll be wank again and if we get away with a replay we'll have had a lucky escape. Christ, I don't think I've ever been less bothered. It's going to be a result check only for me.
I am quite interested because it could/should be Rowett’s last stand.
if he plays a full strength team we know that he believes his job is on the line. If he makes a lot of changes, either he doesn’t give a shit or he believes he’s safe. Either way I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we lose.

There's nothing wrong in hoping Stoke beating Shrewsbury 5 or 6 nil Rowett realising he has to be more attacking (can't be any worse) then going on a great run into the playoffs - we all would like that wouldn't we?
I'd never hope we lose, but I struggle to find the enthusiasm to watch more Rowettball. Still, I'll be tuned in at 8.30am our time, wishing to see something which gives me some hope for the second half of the season. Surely he is gone after this game, no matter what, but it would be nice to see one or two players finding some improved form for the games ahead.
If it were me, I'd blend youth and experience (with the two Ryans and Joe out):
sadly I currently feel like I couldn't care about the game tomorrow after watching all the Christmas games . I would hope he would try two or three young ones but I guess he wont , hope we get through of course but thats about it from me , enjoy your day if you are going .
Playing youth and fringe players gives built in excuse but a strong team might give same of our misfiring players a boost in confidence - but with the risk of another plodding performance piling on the pressure.
Or he could go full Hughes told you so mode and play his normal formation but with Affelay at centre half, Adam on the wing and Bojan up top very much on his own.

Thought for the day.
If win, lose or draw Rowett is toast, why not park all the negativity for one day, get behind the team fully, have a laugh and make it a bit of a carnival atmosphere? Would certainly make a nice change......
