He will be gone, I’d say he’s got 2 games max to turn it around, Southampton won’t dither like our board As for Hughes, I’d be surprised to see him managing again in the premier league, and he may not manage again at all. There are far better out of work managers out there such as Moyes so I think he’d be down the pecking order My Saints mate reckons their board like him and there’s no question of the sack at the moment. Making the same mistake as ours seemingly.

He is doing a marvellous job..Carry on Mark, maybe clubs will then realise that when it comes to ruining them you are a maestro with your team behind you!

Apart from the obvious joy of seeing a Hughes side hammered, I am bored shitless watching Man. City thrash everyone. It reminds me of that Dream Team that America assembled for the Olympic basketball.
Hardly surprising they are so good with the money they have spent, is it? The bigger surprise is how wank Manchester United look despite spending loads as well.

If he gets sacked there will that be the end of him? Surely it will won't it? I think he's still enough of a household name to find another job in the premier league and he can play the "I wasn't backed properly/wasn't given enough time" card when Southampton do sack him. Clubs like us and Southampton will always face a few thrashings in the premier league as there is a huge gulf in class between the top clubs and the rest of the league. Hughes was decent at Stoke for the majority of his time here, he wasted money and made some bad decisions as all managers do, but I don't hold him solely responsible for our demise, the times changed and we didn't.

Was listening to radio 5 live yesterday and the pundits were asking Southampton fans if they should give credit to Hughes for keeping them up last season.
Really wish I had called in to say yes he kept them up by filling one spot with stoke.
It never gets mentioned he got us relegated just he kept saints up🤔

It never gets mentioned he got us relegated just he kept saints up🤔 & I don't recall he was too convincing in keeping Saints up either. If Gabbiadini hadnt of scored the late winner v Swansea in one of their final games think they were right in the mix still. Proper grated me seeing him & Bowen etc celebrating on the pitch at the final whistle! Was flicking through the Saints equivalent of the Oatcake last night & as someone has mentioned it's just like reading this site prior to his departure. Players not looking fit & players like Danny Ings & Charlie Austin regressing all get mentioned!

Isn't it something like three wins out of 18 games now for MH at Southampton. Things seem to be following the Stoke experience in that S'ton struggle to score whilst leaking lots of goals at the back. But as we know it is unlikely that they do much defensive work in training, although at the other end they do have some good strikers.
When MH goes I would be surprised if he got another job in this country as no-one will trust him, but he might land another good pay day abroad if he milks his former reputation as a player.

Yes a very familiar pattern

I hate the shit called Mark Hughes. Love to see him sacked. Never get another job at top level. He is hopeless.

A game against Watford to save his skin. I wonder if Moyes will be in the crowd watching?
Come on Ingsy, keep him in a job for a few more months...

Ironically, all the first choice players he missed out on at Stoke are with him there.
