Could always rely on snow there when I was growing up. It has its own micro climate . I remember trying to get to cheadle and back many times in snow

Sunday 24/01 Snowing heavily in Mid Staffs now at 10am Nothing at the minute in Clayton village. The TV forecast did not give it this far North but we have 2/3 cm in about an hour, and it’s still coming down ☔️⚓️

Nothing at the minute in Clayton village. Coming down in Hartshill so can’t be far off you, pretty light though It'll be near me soon then. Current smattering here is akin to the few remnants of polystyrene that become dislodged from the packaging when you open the box to a new item of white goods (perhaps a microwave or a sandwich toaster that you will use approximately three times before placing on to of the cupboard to collect dust for eternity).

Sledging done, chocolate buttons from shop on way home and just opening a bottle of London Pride, still one ofy favourites. No more snow falling now so suspect that's our lot here. I shall now lose to kids on FIFA and blame on the beer and my aging joints lol

Plenty up here in Penkhull, looks like it's stuck though.
A500 and A50 around the Britannia appears to be moving though.
As much as I've moaned about working from home lately I'm grateful for the opportunity when it's like this.

It's having a bloody good go up in Penkhull. Looks too wet to stick at the moment.
If it stays like this all day at least it gives me a chance to get the walking gear out and see how dry it keeps me before my week up the lakes.
Wrap up at the match today it's bastard freezing.
