You couldn't of been around in the Kevin Pressman or Tony Parks era! Neville Southall times maybe?! Who can forget the Hans Segers game too..? He was so poor during a loan spell he only played in a game V WBA where they tore us apart & Segers was sent back! Whilst Haugaard hasn't looked great for us in the few times he has played he's still got that he's relatively fresh & inexperienced in his favour. The other named keepers certainly stand out in my mind as being worse keepers to grace our shirt! Gordon Marshall?????? For all the class keepers we've had, we've had some howlers along the way too haven't we!

Do you have a stoke player you never really liked and they weren’t absolutely dreadful for one reason or another. Basically half decent stoke players you never liked? Good question! One player fits this description for me: Ian Moores Probably says more about me than him, but I seem to remember him being constantly offside. Used to do my head in. Ian Moores suffered with our fans for being not John Ritchie and he looked like an absolute carthorse of a player although he was strangely effective in bundling a few goals over the line. Nearly fell off my chair when Spurs bought him, although the arrival of Villa and Ardiles meant the end of his brief tenure at the Lane and he finished up at Orient. Perhaps best known at Stoke for the goal he scored to help us beat Middlesboro 1-0 at Vale Park when the Butler Street roof collapsed and we couldn't play at the Vic. Lovely fella, I had a long chat to him at the bar in Sammi Belles/Maxims whichever it was in 'castle at the time. Tragically died of lung cancer aged 43 of course. RIP Ian

I wasn't around in them days but I can not fathom that any keeper can be worse than Haugaard. And as for his inexperience- he's 26 year old- actually older than Butland. Why is he still at the club?

L'il Ant was another one, and his frigging mate who apparently had to go everywhere with him.
I still can't believe he actually played in the PL, bet he can't either.

Are we talking recent or longterm?
Recent, for me, it has to be N'Diaye. He is the ultimate shit house footballer. He came here for a big fee, on a very good wage, under no illusions that as a club we were in trouble..... within literally 2 or 3 weeks (while in the middle of a relegation dogfight) he was pining for a move back to Galatasaray. He never showed anything like the commitment he showed for Senegal at the World Cup, despite picking up a huge wage and probably bonuses when he played. He then manufactured a move back to Turkey, probably a cut price... all while Instacrapping photos of himself in luxury designer suits. It's like he was giving every Stoke fan the middle finger while mimicking the words "FUCK YOU". He represents everything that is wrong about modern footballers and I do genuinely despise him. I don't usually wish an injury on someone, but if someone did happen to accidentally go in two footed and turn his left ankle into powdered bone, I wouldn't lose a huge amount of sleep.
I'm not sure about Jack at the moment. Had the World Cup gone differently, he would have jumped at the opportunity to leave. I don't believe his heart is in it anymore, but there we go...
Longer term, well from the Prem: I never really liked Eidur. Came across a prick. Seemed very chippy and I just don't think he was the character we needed at the time. I wasn't a big fan of Matthew Upson. He was a shite defender before we signed him, but had the benefit of being a media darling knocking about at the medias favourite club, so obviously deserved to play for England. As soon as he signed for us, everyone remembered actually just how awful this useless piece of shit was. He got had god knows how many times. Steve Sidwell was another utterly ludicrous signing and seemed to openly speak down about us in the media.
Pre-Prem: Mentioned a few times.... Ally Pickering. Knobhead. Didn't like him before, don't like him now. I was never a big fan of Bjarni. Always felt there was a bit of nepotism at times and I knew his younger brother who was an absolute tosser. Michael Ricketts.... one season wonder, total has been, who hadn't scored in about 4 years by the time he got to us.... Perfect fit for Stoke then. Didn't want or like him particularly. Lewis Buxton..... people used to say I looked like him. Shit footballer as well.

Jese - After a couple of games it was obvious why he's failed everywhere. He's basically a monumental C U N T of a human being. Ryan Shotton - Terrible footballer, and once saw him in town acting like a billy big bollocks with lines like "do you know who i am?". Shola Ameobi - Waste of a loan fee, and he was absolutely garbage in the process. Don't agree with Shotton, but totally forgot about Ameobi. Garbage.

Some of the names thrown up on here are unbelievable. Either people have extremely short memories or didn`t follow Stoke during the dark days, but, there are far worse players that have turned out in the red n white shirt than have been mentioned on here.
May I offer up the following for starters : P A Johnson P Johnson D Schreuder J Clarke D Bamber

I dont hate players who have limited skills but i hate players who dont care, Jese is a big example for that.

Schreuder didn't even play a league game, so it's hard to glean much about his attitude positive or negative.

In fact I don't think I knew when they were playing either Steve!

Danny bastard Collins....
A few years back I had a tidy sum on us to win 1-0 at Bolton and for Kitson to be the goal scorer.
All was going to plan until and Danny Collins did a ridiculous tackle in the 95th minute and conceded a penalty. We drew 1-1 and I ended up crying

I never liked Sammy Irvine - totally random and for no real reason. He looked like one of the Bay City Rollers and probably played like one of them too.
John Tudor - one game wonder, and he looked like a pub landlord masquerading as a footballer.
Tony Ellis - used car salesman look. A spiv who was probably a div.
Gerry McMahon - just a bit wet, bottled out of challenges and couldn't be arsed.
Sammy Bangoura - what a waste of God given talent.
Gianelli Imbula - see Bangoura.
