I’m seriously hoping your joking with all the discussion. If not I don’t think you realise how many people are laughing their arse off at you. If you have to cheat to win your automatically telling everyone you can’t win honestly. Bending a rule to most would be acceptable, but stating that doing anything no matter how much it’s breaking the rules is just sad, pitiful and hilariously showing the complete opposite of what your claiming. Did you not read the part when I said I don't give a fuck about what anybodys opinion is of me? If I could feign an injury to get a guy sent off on the World Cup stage I'd do it. Cry all you want on the forums about it, but I'd be the one progressing through to the next stage of a tournament. Neymar doesn't give a fuck, Sergio Ramos doesn't give a fuck and neither does Suarez. They're winners. Did you roll around when you played in the Dutch 17th division?

Someone will take him out of the competition, like Colombia did in Brazil. The little cry baby runt deserves all that is coming to him.

Tim Vickery was saying on the radio early how he's been indulged from the age of 6, everyone telling him how wonderful he is wherever he's been. The blokes a petulant prick, be great if he limped off at the Semi-Final stage with a hamstring injury.............

I heard him the other day saying that unlike most Brazilians, Neymar is not a street footballer. Every game he has ever played has had a referee. He's used to being protected. Time for Fellaini to get his elbows out in the 1/4 final.

The scale of response to that injury and the subsequent hammering increased his twattiness. Gary Lineker made a good point when he said his histrionics meant the ref couldnt send the Mexican stamper off because it would effectively be rewarding the ludicrous shittery.

I hope somebody just completely takes him out "fairly" in the QF, just severely enough for the arrogant, petulant, odious little shit to have to immediately go off injured but not blatant enough to warrant a red card.
Then Brazil to lose as well against Belgium would be the perfect game.

Well just because he doesn't walk around with his head bowed or a blood red face, doesn't mean he doesn't feel embarrassingly awkward when it gets brought up......especially in interviews!!! He's not so much remembered for his footballing skills anymore....he's more remembered for his cheating!!! Surely he's got to feel some awkwardness when it gets brought up??? I wouldn't even be surprised now, that when he does an interview, he asks for it not to get brought up!!!

He's (imho) the greatest player ever. He dominated a world cup and serie a like nobody before or since. He scored beautiful goals. BUT the handball wss special because he got something he shouldn't have got. The urchin, the street kid getting one over on us all. Keeping everything in context it's very different than what Neymar does. Neymar is much worse.

Remember Robbie Fowler being awarded a penalty against Arsenal that time, and he told the ref that he fell over himself and that it wasn't a penalty??? THAT'S a better thing to see rather than cheating!!!

What's truly sad to me, more so than Neymar being a crybaby, is that by far the worse crime of the Mexican thug slyly trying to hurt a fellow professional isn't even deemed worthy of discussion any more. How many of those who are enraged about Neymar's over-reaction even know the name of the initial aggressor? Almost none, because cynicism and thuggery is just taken for granted in football nowadays. It's clear to me personally that the majority of players at all levels of football have no talent for creatively expressing themselves on a football field, but instead play a brand of anti-football consisting of; a) fouling, b) shirt-pulling, c) wrestling people to the ground, d) obstructing... and of course, e) kicking opposition players up in the air if they try the ultimate sin, "showboating with the ball a bit". But sadly a similar majority of fans will happily put up with all of that, and only vent their spleen when someone on the receiving end rolls around a bit afterwards. It's a shame, but the next time we're watching 22 talentless Championship cloggers serving up their own talentless brand of anti-football, perhaps we should remember that we sometimes get the football (or conspicious lack of it) that we deserve! Exactly this. Neymar didn't 'dive', he was ALREADY on the deck and Layun, dispicably attempted to DELIBERATELY injure him by standing on his ankle, whilst picking up the ball. If it was me, I would have jumped up and smacked the bastard cheat. But Neymar attempted to draw attention to what happened to him by way of a different reaction instead. Yes it was theatrical and yes it was over the top but he had absolutely no faith in the authorities to see it, if he didn't highlight it himself. And even then, they STILL bottled it, even with a VAR review it went unpunished ... Layun should have been given a straight red, it was HE who instigated the whole thing.

THAT'S a better thing to see rather than cheating!!! It depends on what defines cheating. At the Spurs game we were getting pulled all across the pitch and everyone's furious because the ref won't give it. Refs will only give it if the one being pulled goes down. That's the fact of the matter. But our players stay up apparently doing the right thing then everyone gets aggrieved because it isn't given. Naive as fuck. Owen dived im 98. Did everyone in England shrivel up in shame or jump out of their seat? To be honest if I indulged in a bit of skullduggery to get across the line it wouldn't bother me one bit. But Neymar it isn't a bit and it's more than skullduggery.

It was utterly dispicable, underhand cheating, attempting to 'crock' another professional footballer and the very fact that it ultimately went unpunished, did, in itself, prove that Neymar was right to believe that he had no faith in the authorities to make the right call.

So you think it should have gone unpunished then? Not at all but the reaction by Neymar was ridiculous and cheating. Neither were in the right but I’d be embarrassed if we had a player that did that. Do you think his reaction was OK then? If that’s the way to behave and win a game then GR better get on the phone to De Niro and Pacino see if they’ll sign for us.
