5 wayward passes.. one mis placed clearance, an attempt at a header 5 yards from where the ball landed, dribbling and losing the ball outside his own 18 yard box, and a ball that he's smashed out of play. All for giving people a chance but this is one nightmare of a debut. Go and stick yer head in a chip fryer heh

Pulis wouldn't of let the kiddies play for a start when they are not ready And that's why Pulis is an awful manager. Stupid theory

Fucking youngsters, why can't they learn to play at the top level of football without playing at the top level of football. Always disgusts me when an 18 year old doesn't have 10 years of premier league experience. Correct, what the hell do they think Fifa 18 is for? Enjoyment?

It was from a free kick bayern. The ball is stationary and its gone to the tallest player in the box. Its hardly a masterpiece. Yet the world class Shaqiri manages to miss them all when he over hits it at every occasion. The list of non world class guys who have more goals than him is pretty staggering.

So we've had a young midfielder who sits in front of the defence and can pass? Why wasn't he tried earlier?

Could be a real asset for us next season. Despite what some may say we have a few that can if they make the most of their chances. What we are doing now is producing lads that can play football, we didn't necessarily do that before.

But they don’t run around everywhere for 90 hours and bleed Stoke-on-Trent and live in Blurton and show loads of PASHUN, so they’re all complete wank don’t forget.

very good debut from the lad, that assist will give him a boost and lets hope he gets plenty more chances to progress next season as well.

Having some youngsters come through is probably one of the things to look forward to about the Championship.

Looks to be a player in there. As for sad Stoke fans slagging an 18 year old on their debut. I give up.......

Pity Pulis isn't in the dugout like the good old days, eh? You could have had a full on wank. Pulis wouldn't of let the kiddies play for a start when they are not ready Didn't he do it against West Brom once.

Some players have an individual influence on teams and matches. They are usually stand out players in the reserves or youth teams and more often than not, don't tend to make the step-up immediately.
Some other players don't stand out in a lesser ability based team, but have good technique and understanding of the game. They also tend to excel when they are amongst better players.
People like Sorensen hopefully fall consistently in the 2nd paragraph and would fit perfectly in a phrase such as "The first team players brought the best out of him"
Give him a chance. Shame we didn't give Campbell the same.

All for giving people a chance but this is one nightmare of a debut. Pretty much impossible to find a player who will go through any match without making some kind of mistake. Give the lad a break FFS and try to get some realism about coming into their first competitive match.

Started off poorly with a few misplaced passes and giving away soft free kicks, probably through nerves. However he grew as the game went on, some of the passes he made were great and first time. He continually looked forward for a pass too. Got an assist on his debut. Looks really promising!

Thought he improved as the game went on, a shaky start, but showed some real quality on the ball. Exciting times ahead!
