What a fucking bunch of premiership whores we have amongst our supporters, one of the loudest chants of the day for an opposition player then cheering that one of our own players were taken off. You just couldn't make some of the wankery up - really. Gouranga. Well maybe they will be gone next season.

Given the turgid shite served up for the last 18months. The fans are the least of our problems. Supporting this demise has tested my patience more than any of the previous relegations. Poor management, poor aquisitions, poor work ethic. The worst excuse for a running commentary by our board and manager I've ever heard. Yet we turn up in unprecidented numbers to play a part. I seem to remember Lambert saying something like “we have to give them something to shout about... Well you did that today Paul with another baffling substitution, a free kick from a comedy club, a finish that needed a striker to just square up to the ball and one of the laziest performances Ive ever seen from Shaqiri all in a must win game. You can blame everyone at the club before you get to the fans.[/quot] Dont be a dick Which bit, wanker?

Jack was having a go at one Stoke fan who, to be fair to him had hell of a voice on him and was far from pleased with what he saw for the last 5 minutes.
I think all the players bar a couple have been under-performing and should shoulder the blame, Butland is one of those who's not been good enough this season. I realise I'm going to make myself look stupid because I'm judging him on one situation but I have no idea why he didn't just ignore the guy, there were plenty of other fans like myself showing their appreciation. Yes Butland played well today but he's not been great this season.
I think the fans were alright, we're probably above average. I doubt many sets of fans would be delighted about being relegated and our recent results.

Not sure what happened at full time between butland and the fans. But it upset me that fans turn against the team. Yes we haven’t got results, yes we haven’t played well and yes some players gave up early. But we’re meant too be a club and support each other. Didn’t like the fact that shaq clapped the fans and just got boo’s. He’s been our player of the season, we’d have been down by January if it wasn’t for him! Sorry but Shaq after complaining about the quality of the squad then turned in a performance that lacked the quality we expect from him. I didn’t boo him at full time but I can understand why some did. He talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk. Compare his performances with those of those who have preceded him ( Liam Lawrence and Hoekstra and going back to the good old days TC and Jimmy Robertson; I never saw Sir Stan play unfortunatily) and he’s not in the same league despite him thinking he is.

Don’t worry, if we go down, 3 weeks in the Championship and the dodos will be off to support Wolves or some other Premiership franchise.

Butland is just one of our senior players that have let us down his season at key times.
He's been poor since Lambert came in and has cost us points.
He's made rank bad, basic errors at times that will help cost us our PL place and his England place.
Lee Grant the other season was way better than Butland this season. That's an undeniable fact.

Butland saved at least 3 goals today And let the most important one in, the guy was 3 yards out when he scored!!! Butland was doing his best starfish impression again. He is an ok keeper, nothing more/nothing less. It simply shows the dearth of GK talent in the England setup and generally around the league. De Gea apart.

Butland saved at least 3 goals today Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that what a goalkeeper is supposed to do? Make saves. I honestly thought that we would have Englands goalkeeper at the world cup, but the facts are, despite him making some excellent saves, which he gets paid to do, he has also been totally at fault for at least 3 goals which have meant we have lost the 3 points, those extra 6 points come the final reckoning could be the difference. Right now I think Pickford is ahead of Butland for Russia

I think, on this occasion even though he's been wrong on others, Jack was quite within his rights to do what he did. He'd had a super game and couldn't do much about the goal they scored. (He almost managed to save the attempt from the two unmarked big strikers at the back post.) And then he came to the Boothen End and was applauded by almost everyone except for a moron who decided to have a go at him as if the entire shebang was Jack's fault. Even my fifteen year old grandsons thought the moron bloke was an arsehole for what he did. There's showing dissent and venting anger, but that loud-mouthed lout needed a severe kick in the balls. Pity Jack didn't give him one. OS.

Our marking was piss poor and they had put pressure on us the second we came out the second half. I hate choupo and think his attitude and effort is disgusting, but he may well of been a good option to have. I'm sure the moron shouting stuff at jack was pissed off with the result and knowing full well the outcome of it, and jack was probably the nearest player to vent frustration.

Im baffled. If 'the match' is that much of an inconvenience that you can't stay until the end, perhaps give it a miss altogether. Do these people get up and walk out of the cinema before the film has finished? Or walk out of the theatre early? Go to a gig and go home with 1/2 hour to go? It looks shit, especially when we're on TV, a half empty ground on 83 minutes? I assume that they would be 'OK' with the players giving up on 80 minutes. 0-4 down, I get it. 0-2 in injury time, I get it. But it's literally any & every game. Cue the 'I pay money money, I'll do what I want' lot. Well, you're entitled to walk out early, absolutely, in the same way that I pay my money too, so reserve the right to call you out.

I want to know what was actually said, but he pointed to the team and Lambert. Shows something rather than sucking it up It seems to me he wants daisies laced in his hair and a soothing pat for all the boys whatever shit they produce. He really does seem a bit needy and weird. It doesn't really matter does it, he'll be in another Premier League relegation battle or warming a Champions League bench next season. I can't abide anyone that openly shows their distain towards fans, whether it's warranted or not. He's not a young lad anymore and he should grow up. He's just a prick that thinks the likes of you and I below him. As for the majority of the other yellow bellied pricks (Shaqiri being one of the main culprits), it doesn't surprise me to hear they swiftly shuffled off down the tunnel. Him pulling his face when Lambert had the audacity to tell him to go and clap the fans against West Ham made me want to put the telly through.

Watched beIN sports Thailand, was piss poor at 1-1, utter pathetic and the commentator said the same, unbelievable.I couldn't go for a shit, hoping for a goal, and a great substitution nearly did it with Ireland but 70 % of supporters didn't see that. The team and some fans deserve relegation.

The players morale?? Fans throwing in the towel????.... the players threw in the towel long ago along with the board. The fans have been magnificent considering the shite we have had to endure. The fans are treated with contempt by the board, a la 'whats all the fuss about'....
