You're becoming increasingly more annoying week after week. I don't mean to sound demeaning or insist my support is in any way better than yours, but I imagine it's a whole lot easier to be such a happy clapper while sitting watching the games from the comfort of your armchair, rather than investing hundreds of hours and pounds following your team up and down the country. Forgive us for being so negative, we've had this shite thrown in our faces for 18 months now - we all saw it coming, and nobody did a damn thing about it. No amount of happy clapping, blind faith posts from you imploring everyone to "sing for 90 minutes" is going to get us out of this mess now. JVD, I have urged “sing for 90 minutes in a grand total of 1 post ( I think just before the Arsenal game). I am sorry if that annoys you and you are still festering over it 2 weeks later. I am irritated by people insisting we are gone, when we are not, there are still 15 points to play for. One last news item, apart for 12-18 months under Hughes, the FA Cup final and Europe, and 3-4 seasons under Waddo, you’ve had “this shite thrown in our faces for” over 150 years now. If that’s what’s really annoying you, look to yourself for the remedy and not at people who are doing their best from thousands of miles away to “support “ the team in their hour of need. It's in your signature mate, which is on every post you put up!

It pains me to say it, but Marco will be licking his lips about facing us and is likely to tear us a new one - again.

I’d happily see Carroll up front and Arnautovic out wide to be fair. Much rather the likes of Shawcross be be against brawn rather than pace.....

This game will seal the fate of both this season.
West Ham will ensure Premier League football next season.
We will be playing Championship football.

I think possibly more by accident than design, Lambert has finally found his best eleven and formation and I don't think he will make any changes for the West Ham game, unless possibly if Staffy is fit. I would be tempted to start with Campbell, shift Diouf our wide right with Bauer at right back and Shaq central. I think Diouf is far better on the right and he’ll help out dfensively against the snake. Diouf is worse on the right than he is up front because he has the first touch of a baby giraffe with its legs tied together.

I've got money on West Ham so we're guaranteed a point at least.

Zouma has to play and man mark Arnie. The one time Arnie was stitched up like a kipper was against Iorfa Vs Wolves. He couldn't cope with his pace and physicality.
Lambert should know all about that as he was Wolves manager that very day.

Lambert should know all about that as he was Wolves manager that very day. Agree Shawcross and Zouma at centre back for me. I like Indi but he's a bit of a fanny and gets knocked about and he's got zero pace. Arnie and especially Carrol are rough strong buggers. And I would play Bauer or anyone for that matter instead of Johnson as his total lack of pace will kill us. He looked like he was treading in treacle at times on Saturday.

My ticket for this one was delivered today, I wasn't going to go because I'm going to Madrid on Tuesday morning to watch them play Bilbao on Wednesday, I'll be bloody knackered but I feel like the one game I miss is going to be the one they get it going at last....stupid I know!

If Palace, Swansea and Huddersfield all win (unlikely but possible) we will be 7 points from safety by the time we play Wet Sham. In that scenario we will need a win just to stand still. A defeat will in all reality relegate us no matter the other 3 results. Beat West Ham and I can see us finishing above them. Seeings as a) I support Stoke b) I'm going to West Ham game and c) the caretaker at my place is a West Ham fan and has constantly taken the piss out of me since last September, I like the sound of this scenario very much indeed.

Being vaguely rational it'll be a good point, they're playing better again and there's our away form and all that. But any number less than three is useless now.
Wonder if an element of anti-Arnie feeling will help us but tbh history just says he knew how things were going with LMH and when to get out.

If we perform to same standard as the last two games we should have a good chance against a side who at the end of the day are nowhere near the standard of Spurs. Think there is a danger in overrating the opposition.
Then it will be a question of small margins.
If we don't perform then would expect nothing.

If we lose by less than two clear goals it will be miraculous.
However, knowing the way life is we'll get a draw and still be clinging to false hopes of survival.

Fancy palace and Huddersfield will win and comfortably 7 points adrift will show just how badly we have fallen under lambert You know things are going from bad to worse when start agreeing with Benji

We have a very potent strike force whichever combination is chosen though don't we. Would Campbell be any less effective than the others??

Lambert will name an unchanged team, probably - personally I'd find space for Zouma and Cameron instead of Bruno and Johnson.

Would Campbell be any less effective than the others?? No I wasn't criticising your selections, we have to muddle something together, more lamenting the astonishing lack of fire power available to us given we are in our 10th season of Premier League football!

We have to target Arnie in this game, foul him, niggle him, wind him up he will crack and end up getting himself sent off. If we Give him the freedom of the park as we did when they came to our place he will punish us, Shawcross indi give him hell. Those 2 center half's haven't got a pair of bollocks between them. An outrageous comment that I shouldn`t dignify with a response really. Ryan and Bruno absolutely put themselves on the line every game. Stupid post!
