So according to Henry it was very difficult for the referee and his assistant. They gave a penalty for something they thought had happened BUT ACTUALLY DIDN’T. APPALLING 🤮

Stop your moaning you got lucky in the reverse fixture Yes, we were lucky enough to have officials with the balls to make the correct call. That's your definition of "lucky" is it?

Thought we were at least as good as them until the usual LONDON REF gave a penalty that VAR would have certainly overturned. Take note all you who are against it.
Shaq trying hard to win the game alone with what would have been goal of the season from the corner, Allen running his tits off and Bauer getting in all over the place. Good closing down and solid defending with Jack stopping well.
Then the penalty and the whole team goes F**K this and we lose 3 -0 making them look good.
Sobhi you need to practice beating an egg as you can't beat a player, Berahino , were you on the pitch?

Maybe Lambert isn't as bad as some have made out? Well there's still 45 minutes for Arsenal to actually show up. We can reassess then. Obviously, I'm not a prophet.

How were we lucky? You scored an off side goal and it got disallowed! How's that lucky 🍀 🤔🤔🤔 We should have had at least one pen And you've got a dodgy one to get you off the mark today. Honestly, would you have scored if ref didn't help you out?

What's Lambert said about the penalty. Is a he a wee bit disappointed again?

The thing is we just don’t look like scoring unless it’s a Shaqiri 20 yarder. Diouf is just nowhere near good enough to play as a striker, but he may well be the best of the lot. N’diyae has a similar brain capacity to Charlie Adam, Ramadan along with Eric is colour blind when it comes to finding a Stoke player, but other than that what is there to worry about?

Badou is shite. Genuinely worse than both Afellay and Imbula. no, not avin that. Granted, stupid for the pen. That’s the most ill-informed comment of the day. Against both Everton and Arsenal, for different reasons, Badou and Allen have held firm against 3 in midfield. His work rate was excelllent, great timing of tackles and several bursts forward. He is growing into the English game and probably our best player over the last 180 minutes

Butland is totlly wank at penalties. Does he ever dive to his left? No He shouldnt do his diving before the ball is kicked thing... Because 1) if he actually saves the kick then the ref will order the kick to be retaken and his save wont count And 2) he should stand up, be big, and force the penalty taker to decide where he is going to place his kick. Not show him where he is going and invite the penalty taker to put the ball elsewhere For most people that sounds sensible, but obviously butland is Not hsving it

Butland is not the only keeper to dive before the ball is struck, which is why there are so many penalties struck into the middle of the goal. Its got to the stage, where statistically your best chance of scoring, as penalty taker is to strike the ball into the middle of goal. I think Butland and others need to ask if they are doing themselves any favours here? And of course if he steps forward even an inch and saves it, the ref can order the kick to be retaken

And if that happens outside football you could get sued

Many players break their legs in professional football and many occur in far more malicious ways than that of Aaron Ramsay but sadly the media, who dote on Arsenal as many of them are Arsenal fans, refused to let it go. Look on the bright side you won't have to play us next season and we won't have to go to your soulless half empty stadium - win-win

After sleep on it, I’m really proud of the lads. Going too a ground like the emirates and performing like that, class from the lads! Everyone deserves credit. Not being funny but if you go a goal down against arsenal, not a lot of teams can come back and I still think they would’ve won. But still 0-0 at 75 minutes, who knows? If you would like a good assessment I’d suggest watching motd2. They covered it perfectly. The referee has guessed, and Bruno has won the ball. Thought the other penalty was soft too.

It was a decent enough effort but we offer no threat at all going forward. We did not make the right decisions on the few occasions we had the chance. Once they had been gifted the lead the match was over. Sad but true we have no fight and no way of coming back after conceding.

Once they had been gifted the lead the match was over. Sad but true we have no fight and no way of coming back after conceding. In all this debate about being no threat going forward , all the focus tends to be on our forward players who are poor, but what about our midfield two? Yes, they work hard and do part of their job well.....but what do they create? I have not seen any decent defence splitting passes from Badou or Allen. Maybe 2 from Allen all season......it's just not enough.
