I would suspect the Sponsors are “led” to their man of the match choice Their choice would have been politically correct. There were so many good performances today and it would unfair to single out individuals Totally left to the sponsors to decide no “leading”

Totally left to the sponsors to decide no “leading” Aren’t three names suggested? No, I was lucky enough to sponsor MOM (back in the day where you could be match sponsor, ball sponsor or 1 of about 5 packages, I think it’s all or nothing now) you are asked ‘who’s your choice of MOM’? Ours was a toss up of Matty etherington or Danny higginbotham, matty got it so you get his signed shirt as well as other stuff, sometimes that can be an influence 😄

They could have given it to any one of four yesterday imo... and bauer was one of them. I had to make the decision when sponsoring a match a few years back - it's not so straightforward. I wasn't pissed, but most of my guests were so they were no help at all Zouma was totally commanding in the air, but Huddersfield played to his strengths, made it easy for him. I still prefer BMI when the oppo forwards are nimble and nippy and playing to feet.

I'd have said Shawcross. Bauer was good but he wasn't streets ahead of everyone else. I think he and Edwards are just so much better than the shite we had before that decent play expected of any ok full back looks like something Cafu would do. He's quick and a good crosser but still occasionally seems a bit raw, it'll come with time.

Where I was watching from and those around me were all saying how terrible diouf was first half . Then move. He he did everything that the (new) team is about. Pressed from the front. Was the target man if played long. Laid it off and got in the middle. All the stuff he did before when played up front tbh Then move? Where to?
