Butland Bauer Shawcross Indi Pieters Allen Cameron Shaqiri Bojan Choupo Berahino
Would say Jese and Choupo are similar but don't think I can't count Jese.

------------Butland----------------- -Bauer -- Zouma -- BMI -- Pieters- --------Allen --- Fletcher ----------- ----Choupo - Shaqiri -- Sohbi ------ ------------Berahino----------------
Ideally we need a new LB, DM, and Striker (priority). I'd also like another winger as Choupo and Sohbi don't fill me with confidence. Bringing Bojan back or playing Ireland and moving Shaqiri to the wing is an option. Crouch is great as a sub but shouldn't be starting. If Berahino really isn't fit enough then Diouf up top but his finishing worries me.

Shawcross and Indi are the only two defenders who can come out without any huge criticism this season.

Butland Bauer Shawcross/Zouma Bruno Pieters Cameron Allen Shaq Choupo Ramadan Diouf
Only doubt with shawcross is if Lambert wants to play a high line, he has been exposed by the ball over the top several times. Zouma’s pace may compensate for his total lack of awareness
Choupo too lazy to play wide without a top left back behind hi but he does get assists and the odd goal so just ahead of Ireland. Shaq is a risk defensively but hoping Jack Bauer can compensate.
Diouf will miss a lot but he does get on the end of stuff and hopefully some will drop
Ideally we sign a CDM, a wide player, a centre forward and a left back able to do it alone so Shaq can move to 10, and Choupo to the left

Butland
Bauer Shawcross Bruno Stafylidis
Alllen Cameron
Shaqiri Ireland Ramadan
Diouf
Although if we can bring in a new striker this window, I'd play Diouf on the right and Shaqiri as the number 10.

If we can sign a left wing back I would consider a diamond. Butland
Bauer Shawcross BMI/Zouma Pieters (new LWB)
Fletcher (New DM) Allen Cameron(New Mid) Shaqiri
Diouff(New) Crouch(New) This allow protection for the back four, Shaqiri in his best position and two up front, with width provided by the wing backs.

See a lot of people opting for Cameron over Fletcher which i agree with completely
Think Fletcher brings more off the pitch than he does on it, a few games this season he has been caught out with his lack of pace and legs
Definitely good to have around the team with the experience he brings though

Diouf reminds me too much of Cameron Jerome, too much pace for his own good and can't finish for toffee, can't knock his work rate though Still agree that he is our best option at the minute with Berahino looking unfit and having 0 confidence

Crouch hasn't scored whilst starting this year, and Diouf has started far more than Saido (whatever position). He's the only striker we haven't given a run up front, and the other two have been fucking awful.

Sorry but Diouf misses too many easy chances for me. Can`t knock his workrate but as a guy who sits behind me in the boothen keeps saying `he`s a poor man`s sidibe`

Why does anyone want Shaqiri to play out wide? I don’t get it one bit. He’s half the player out there, he really is.

Diouf is crap but he's our best option up front until we bring someone else in.

Shaq is at his best cutting inside from the right playing those diagonal balls inside defenders, for the opposing winger to run on to (as vs City.)

That could work, no issue with it. I'd rather we had 3 attackers all in (near) free roles behind the striker. á la Shaq/Bo/Arnie of 2015/16. And for the cutting in I think we're best having wingers inverted. Shaq's our only left footer.

The only problem I have with that is when a full back bursts to the half way line and they’ve got no one to pass to down the wing. If they could communicate better amongst themselves to make sure they don’t all occupy the middle it would work. It needs work but I see what you’re saying and I prefer your idea. 3 forwards floating around anywhere they like is fine as long as when we need an option out wide there’s someone there to receive the ball.
