Interestingly in the presser when asked specifically about Imbula his words were something to the effect " I'll ring him and ask him what's been going on Really? Never saw that bit. Surely Eddie or someone else at the club knows exactly what has gone on. But fair enough, if we can get everyone back in and give them all a chance. They could be as good as a new signing

The least he should do with both of them is recall them, put them through their paces, make a judgement of their (Imbula’s) attitude and then make his own mind up. My only worry would be that with only 16 games left simply everyone has to be giving 100% and if the manager feels he wouldn’t get that then he simply can’t take the chance. How can you recall a 1 season loan if Toulosse want to keep him, and it's 15 games left

If there is a recall option then I'd certainly bring him back. Call him what you like but he'd offer us more than Fletcher right now. Ideally, I'd want us to sign a new midfielder but if we can't I'd drag him back and sort the fucker out. How do you propose he sorts him out? Nearly every situation I've seen him in he always has that ridiculous non descript grin smashed across his face like Trigger from Only Fools and Horses. I think he's a sandwich short of a picnic.

Easy.. tie him to a chair, wedge his eyes open and show him videos of Salif Diao on a loop. He'll become a defensive midfield maestro in no time.

Ironic that it was the Stoke V (Lambert's) Wolves game just over a year ago that Hughes appeared to give both Bojan & Imbula a chance to prove themselves worthy of a starting place! & both disappointed spectacularly. Sure Lambert knows the potential of the pair but has already seen how bad they can be first hand from the touchline!

Sure Lambert knows the potential of the pair but has already seen how bad they can be first hand from the touchline! Or he saw how good Hughes was at hanging players out to dry when he didn't want to use them It's literally the only reason anyone would be so daft as to play a midfield 3 of Imbula, Afellay and Bojan.

I suppose it depends on squad places that will determine whether Imbula and Bojan are recalled from their loans. I would have them both back,if only for the reason that they are extra options for the manager.

Unfortunately this is just a cheaper option than buying players in. We are short but are these two players who will show the type of fight needed to stay up! Not a chance. We have to sign at least two agresive leader type players in my opinion!

I'm not sure if it's a good idea right now to bring someone back who's a known bad egg.

I hope this is true. They would both improve our match day squad no doubt about it, even if they don't make the starting 11.

Clean slate for everyone IMO. If lambo gives the whole squad a chance to show there worth then I think he’s got be praised for that. Muniesa, Bojan, Imbula all have quality. If they come back with a point to prove them brilliant

If I was a manager and I'd just taken over at a new club I'd want to have a look at every single footballer who was on the books as soon as I could, regardless of what I'd heard about them I'd want them back as soon as possible to take a look at them myself.
I'd be amazed if Lambert isn't thinking exactly the same.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea right now to bring someone back who's a known bad egg. Apart from that I think he has enough on his plate with the 22 at HQ. Distracting everyone by bringing those two back in the short term just seems too much. By all means tell them he's watching them via TV or even a trip out on FA cup weekend. But bringing them back just pointless right now and potentially takes focus away from sorting this lot out.

Well, if Lambert can get an attitude transplant arranged for Imbula, great. If not, then there is no point bringing him back.

Lambert has made a point about utilising what we already have at the club which indicates that the board have told him they want him to work with the likes of Imbula and Bojan to see if he can get them playing in a manner that Hughes couldn’t.

Given how much more we can pay than Girona that is quite an incentive.
