Sounds like a bullshitter too, maybe i will tell you one day. I suppose it might sound a bit like that if I was a mouthy tosser like yourself but I have lots of happy memories and experiences with great players who will tell you otherwise. But the end of the day it is only time that will define the calibre of person you are and your capabilities. I will stake a bet with you that if Flores takes up his position as Manager at Stoke that people such as Adam, Crouch, Fletcher, Johnson and a few more will disappear from the first team squad. Of course dependent upon who they can get in in three weeks. Shaqiri does some sublime things on a football pitch but he is a complete luxury when it comes to team play and the responsibility of defensive midfield play. He is also very limited when it comes to the physical athleticism of the Premier League. His stock is high at the moment. Flores might sell him! Oh God. You’re clueless

We are entering a new era at Stoke and we need more pace, more energy, more effort individually and as a team. I'd play 4-4-2 Butland Bauer, Zouma, Indi, Pieters Edwards, Cameron, Allen, Tymon Berahino Choupo What on earth is that

Record Premier League score is 9. I think 10 goals for The Shit is more likely than a point for us.

Saido will be knackered mate. He played yesterday... Maybe flip this around- Butland up top, Saido in goal. Butland is more likely to get the ball in the net

Interesting to read through the thread and see how many fans are still placing great faith in the players who have clearly shown they are not up to the demands of keeping us in the Premiership. We as fans demanded that Hughes should go but many of us respond with the same or similar ideas of a team that will turn things around. I know that to a certain extent our hands are tied but answers have got to be found. A major shake up is needed and experimentation is needed to try and find a team that has more of a backbone. Like most Stoke fans I retain faith in certain players; Butland, Zouma, Shawcross, Indi, Allen, Cameron, Pieters and Choupo. I also see players who have undoubted match winning ability such as Shaqiri but what is his mentality for a fight like we have. We then have senior players who we might well still love but do they still have the physical capabilities to match the demands of what is going to be needed in Crouch, Adam, Affelay, Ireland and Fletcher? People may disagree but I do not think they have! They have great experience and mentality but they just can't meet the demands of a relegation battle. We cannot live in the past! We are all hoping a new manager and new players will be brought in to solve our problems but that is not happening soon! Finally we have our young future stars? Edwards, NGoy, Tymon and Verlinden; can they make a difference. We won't know until they are thrown in and they face the pressure. They will either fail of might well surprise some fans. We have a great match tonight to experiment because no one expects us to win or even draw. Quite a few people on this thread rightly questioned my sanity when I started this thread with an experimental team with young players being put in in unusual positions. One thing for certain the young players would increase our running and energy. They certainly know about the defensive responsibilities and would aid the full backs because they are defenders in the form of wing backs. Edwards or Diouf or Shaqiri on the right flank who will play with energy and discipline? Edwards for me still! Tymon, Sobhi or Choupo on the left flank to make our defensive play more solid? Still Tymon for me! We need three midfielders with mobility and fight in the centre of the field to initially counter Man Utd's great assets! Allen and Cameron is all we have that I cab believe might do it. If Shawcross and Indi are fir we can try the idea of moving Zouma into midfield to solidify us defensively. I personally do not see us scoring many goals against Man Utd other than a worldly or a set piece. Whoever our two are up front we need players who can also help out on defensive set pieces and Choupo certainly fits the bill. The last place should either go to Berahino or Shaqiri who could possibly provide the worldy. I therefore still would defend my original thoughts. Today is the day to experiment not revert back to tried and failed formations. If experiments fail it has still helped our knowledge of what is not a good idea!

Why am I excited about tonight?? It's inevitably gonna be a sh!t storm, but for some reason I'm counting down to kick off. Same here. Now the circus of appointing a manager is finished with I'm actually buzzing about tonight. A point would be awesome, a really good performance irrespective of the result will give us all a lift going into the remaining games.....
