Still shows he holds onto the ball for too long and plays around with it in dangerous areas... Yep, that's the biggest criticism he deserves. How that hasn't been coached out him yet is beyond me, must be his attitude.

Did you even watch the video in the O.P? Yes thanks, I watched the video. Nothing on show there or, more importantly on the pitch at Stoke, which strike me as being £18M worth. What I saw at Stoke was a complete lack of effort & commitment, easily dispossessed, one footed player. As I said before, I must have missed the match where his "obvious talent" was on display" ....... A signing even worse than Palacios. The first game against Chelsea? Even Chelsea fans were raving about him “Worse than palasios” fuck me sideways, this mb gets worse by the day

Say what you want about his work ethic and everything but it still makes me laugh that people slag him off for being "one footed".. people, take a look around world football, genuinely 2 footed footballers are a rarity. I know what you mean, I used to ride my Raleigh Chopper one handed in the 80s, it was the done thing at the time but nowadays with all this health and safety it's a rare thing. Riding a Raleigh Chopper one handed was lethal. Small front wheel, large handlebars and potholes - a recipe for disaster......and I'm talking from experience

watched him recently in a cup game he played very well, defended and volley brilliantly saved by their keeper, hit the post with a screamer second half too. played the ball quicker, hope he has changed recently because he has been rubbish for them. keep our fingers crossed, on that performance he worked haaaaard also

The great Ferenc Puskas was very one-footed too! Sadly I think Imbula's problems are psychological rather than physical.

Please enlighten us to what gives you the right to decide who deserves to live. Also why you deserve to live while, in your opinion, a young man who, in addition to his other abilities, can play a bit of football, does not.

Hugely talented player who has the ability to be up there with the best in europe. It's not nice to see talented players like him completely fall away. I hope he gets back on track, he has so much to offer.

You can't be that talented and to allow it all to dissipate without other mitigating factors. It's too easy to label someone who is underperforming as lazy. Well, there are other players who I think are a tad thick, but that's different.

Words mean things. Take your pick of either of these meanings, or perhaps you have a different meaning you'd like to share?

Unfortunately the lad is one sandwich short of a picnic, no matter how much talent or coaching he wil recieve he will never be what everyone wants him to become. The bloke needs a new career as having one in such public glare will never help him sort his problems out, such a shame because as people say he has potential He is only 25, if he picks the right club next time he can still have a great career.

Who's an immigrant? Don’t tell me you’re English? Wouldn't that be discrimination? Calling people an immigrant when you know nothing about them?

Don’t tell me you’re English? Wouldn't that be discrimination? Calling people an immigrant when you know nothing about them? Rofl, you really need a better grasp of the language. My comment was that I wish immigrants had a better grasp of the language. You seem to confuse “spunk” to mean “ talent”. From which I can only deduce that one or more of the following must be true; English is not your native tongue; you are not well educated; you are not very bright. While I have my suspicions, I’ll leave you to come to your own conclusions.

I thought he would be the perfect replacement, if not an improvement for the departing N'Zonzi. He certainly has the ability but god knows what goes through his head, could never be arsed for us and clearly has attitude issues.

Hadn't seen this video before, look at the smile on the lad's face when he scores. Watching him for us, even with his good performances, he gives the impression that he's never enjoyed football as much as he did at Marseille. Well, based on that video, which idiot would NOT pay 18 million for him! On today's values 'that' player would be worth three times that amount. I don't kmow what's up with the lad but a lack of talent is not one of his faults. It makes you want to weep to see such talent going to waste. Surely there must be somebody 'out there' who can put his head straight. OS.
