Belgium under Martinez presumably will be good to watch but will concede too many to the other top three or four sides. Probably so but it will show Martinez up for the good for nothing he is if they do. Belgium have the best centre back partnership imo in club football available to them. Not to mention Kompany and Vermaelen too. So he really shouldn't be seeing them conceding a lot of goals. But it's getting a team as mentioned above. Have they got any good full backs? And will they all get on?

He has pace and he is very good at using that pace to get into good goal scoring positions and gaining a yard on his man. At the moment in the team he is playing in every time he makes a decent run his teammates are managing to find him and his manager is using him the way he should.
He does seem to miss some sitters and appears to need 4 chances before he fumbles one over the line. Technically he is very average, I would say he has poor ball control, not a great striker or header of the ball and his distribution is found wanting, his crossing is pretty average too.

Noticed Sterling tonight and he seems much more disciplined than he was these days. Kept the ball well and didn't try to do too much. His defensive play was decent too. He's improved no end under Pepe.

He’ll be given dogs after the latest World Cup débâcle. As the least talented of the Gallaghers would say : As you were.

Sterling burst on the scene full of talent and bluster. The problem is his form dipped but a lot of people make no allowances for the various factors in someone's development. He's showing his best because he has a manager and coaching staff who approach him (on and off the pitch) with positive sympathy. What a snowflake....

I'm watching a replay of the Man City vs. Newcastle game......and sorry for shifting comments from Sterling to De Bruyne but, HOTDAMN, he is an amazing player with zero flash. Sometimes he seems to be running in slow motion but when he smells the ball, he's there and look out. This isn't a great game and I'm not comfortable singing the praises for Man City but I can't piss on the quality of De Bruyne.....or Sterling. In this game, I'm simply seeing De Bruyne put the ball on the feet of attacking players at will.

I think De Bruyne is pretty overrated. I think that Camembert is overrated. No relevance at all, but I though that you all should know. Who does he play for?

Scapegoat for Euro 16 by the idiot bandwagon factor. When played correctly he is a great player. The problem is we never play the game changers correctly for England.

He’ll do fuck all with the dross around him at the World Cup. This is the point. He's hardly going to get the service he gets from KDB, Silva and co when he lines up next to Jake Livermore and Jordan Henderson is he? Our midfield for England is abysmal. Jack Wilshire will be fit and ready ...... He will team up with Kyle Walker out there, hopefuly Alli and Kane can produce something with him

Sorry I forgot you've played at a high level and know more about football than anyone else. 😂😂😂😂😂😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You've said nothing to back up why he's "the best all around player" his stats are so similar to other players in this league and they don't get half the recognition he does. A few of my City mates even say he hasn't looked twice as good as David Silva this season. Take it you watch MOTD and see a few slowed down 30 yard passes and repeat what Lineker says. His work rate is excellent. This might surprise you but aside from being top of the premier league assists chart he's actually made the most tackles for Man City (twice as many as Silva). I think his all round game is what has pushed him ahead, not just the attacking part but the willingness to chase and get stuck in when they haven't got the ball. That is why for me he's the best in the league at the moment. It obviously helps having the likes of Silva, Sane, Sterling and Aguero playing with you but don't discredit his contribution. You said he only did 1 good thing yesterday, that turned out to be the match winning assist - sometimes it only takes 1 good thing. As for Sterling, he's been excellent this year. Really found the goal scoring knack again. Hopefully he continues this form for England.

He has 1 more assist, but played every game. Sane and Silva have missed out and they're 1 assist behind him. If it's just tackling and getting stuck in that's giving him this much praise then I see that as overrated. Few other midfielders in the league that are ahead of him at the moment for me.

What about goals scored? It's interesting that you bring up games played as a negative compared to Silva and Sane. Surely he deserves credit for keeping fit and injury free? You want your best players playing all the time - that's what he's giving you. Whilst Silva has been out they've continued their winning streak - De Bruyne has been a big part of that.

Silva has been out because he lost his child, and Sane is just out on peps rotation.

Needs to add more to his game Until you tell me what more he does than Pogba, Coutinho, Sane, Willian, Silva then I can call him overrated. Based on this season so far - More touches, more assists, more tackles, more goals (than most - coutinho has 1 more, sane the same), more passes. Add into that consistency - only Willian has played 20 prem games this season, like De Bruyne, and then De Bruyne has played nearly double the time on the pitch. He's doing it week in week out. He has been excellent this season.
