Shaq has had a couple of quiet games now , so Hughes has to decide how to manage this. We need him playing at his best . Maybe rest him Sat .

Shaq always has the potential to produce a game winning moment and whilst he is off the boil a little, he should not be dropped. We may have stumbled on a solution down our right with Sobhi and Edwards and if so then time to bring Shaq in side for more influence. Now, what to do with the left and rest of midfield?

For me shaq is to stoke , what mezut ozil is to arsenal Someone who could actually play for real Madrid or Bayern Munich Someone who torments the opposition on a good day and his team mates on a bad day 10 out of 10 for having wonderful skills shaq 0 out of 10 ,for watching dioufy and rammers show how to help out your full back , when playing wide right , then deciding you can't be bothered to do that yourself Play for Bayern Munich or Real Madrid???

He’s already played for Bayern.

Shaq has clearly lost form lately whether that be head in the wrong place or just needs a rest and with Sobhi scoring 2 in 2 you'd have to say he's earned his starting berth to show if he can handle it he can't be any more vacant in his performances than Shaq recently I wouldn't drop Shaqiri mate, he's created the most out of any player and whilst I agree his for sale dipped a bit he is the sort of creative player we need. I'd actually play them both

He actually did play for Bayern! Very much a peripheral player with Ribery and Robben ahead of him.... but good nonetheless. To drop him is ridiculous, especially after his scintillating form earlier this season effectively carried the team forward. What I do like about him as well is that he is actually giving a damn this season, forever calling people forward to attack the opposition, rather than hiding in their shells. I noticed in the Huddersfield game, we were crying out to put pressure on their defence (like they were doing against us) and Shaq was vehemently encouraging people to do so even thought we kept sitting back. Him and Crouch were quite busy up front but Huddersfieldeld were pinging the ball around them both because we did not have the numbers putting pressure on them.

Purely going on what I saw yesterday the interchanges between Edwards and Sobhi did indeed look promising, both very young too, could bode well. Be nice if Choupo and Tymon could develop summat similar on the left as well.

could understand resting him v Chelsea but dropping him is absurd. Many more players have gone through worse and longer patches of form before being dropped (some still haven't been)

Sobhi still has SO much to learn, especially cutting out the little flicks around OUR box that kept giving the ball away. I'm happy to see him come on for 20 minutes or so but wouldn't start him until he matures (mentally that is, not physically)

The heading should have stopped after the word "starting". Then I would have agreed with you.

Or Drop Crouch and play Choupo up top. Thus then accommodates both Ramadan and Shaq. Choupo is better on the wing.He just isn't very effective as a striker.
