I don’t blame Saido, he hasn’t had a proper chance this season. Play him up top for 90 minutes, 10 games in a row minimum, and give him a proper run in the team. Crouch is a great sub but shouldn’t be starting. Diouf runs for everything but his touch just isn’t up to the standard required to be a decent striker in this league.
If Saido doesn’t deliver this season then cut our losses and move on.

Saido has won an award in the 'Guardian Fiver Christmas Awards'
PLAYER OF THE YEAR Saido Berahino, for selfless services to the confidence of goalkeepers everywhere. A one-time Tottenham target with an England call-up to his name, the Stoke striker has not scored in 2,187 minutes of football. The good news for Stoke? His £70,000-per-week contract runs until June 2022.
RUNNER-UP Lionel Messi. Duh!

What I find so sad is our( the fans) desperation. People now talk about Berahino who is patently useless as our saviour.
Who do you turn to when you need a goal?
I know- a player who’s proved he can’t score one.
Sad

I would like to hold talks with Saido Berahino and ask him why he cant hit a cow's arse with a banjo? I can answer you that om the rare occasions he has being allowed to see the cow's arse he is lucky if anyone remembers to give him the banjo close enough to hit the said cows arse

Yep useless just like many were claiming Shaqiri was last year. He has had numerous chances this season says it all really I doubt he has had two or three in any one game.

I'm sorry I must have missed those numerous chances. Bringing him on (very occasionally) with 5-10 minutes to go when we are behind in games is not the way to get a player back into any kind of form.

Minutes have been very few and far between this season and when he has played results haven't been too bad but we persist with twatting it at Crouch which has been proved not to work time and time again. At best its an emergency measure to base your whole gameplan on it is pathetic.

Sorry lads and lasses, but Berahino won't be the answer right now! He might be at some time, but now we need to loan him to a Championship club for the rest of the season. If he doesn't deliver the goods there I would prefer to get rid! He could take Wimper with him too as he is just one of the worst central defenders I've seen in a Stoke kit! Having the same impact as as a certain Mr. Williams from some years ago!

Probably the best tem goal was his pass to Jese to score v Arsenal in the 1-0 win, Hughes never played them together again, seems very baffling that one. Could have been different if Mignolet hadn't pulled off that wonder save from him last season, play him an a formation with team mates nearby that will help him to assist and score and he will.

You almost want some ridiculously hard bastard to take over as manager just to put this fucking piss-taking waste of space in his place? Regardless of any of the goings on behind the scenes at the club, all you have to ask yourself is should a £70k a week footballer (regardless of playing time) be a stone (+) overweight? We bought him 12 months ago and he hasn't scored yet - fucking joker. I just hope we've got a nice, big, red and white skip ready for the new guy to chuck all the club's useless shite into? I'm not totally heartless though. They can stick Kevin Wimmer in first so at least everyone else gets a soft landing?
