The last two years of Tony's time at Stoke were abysmal, and I,like many others, was ready to find some other way to spend my hard earned money (we never do though because we support our team through thick and thin) I do not want Pulis anywhere near our club. However I cannot understand the hatred and abuse given to him by many supporters on the oatcake. Did he get us into the Prem - yes Did he establish us in the Prem -Yes Did he do his best whilst at the club -yes Did he want to leave the club - no Was he sacked - yes Since leaving the club has he ever bad mouthed the supporters or the club ? - no (In fact he talks about Stoke with much affection) Was it his job at his new club to try and beat us ? - yes
We may not have liked his football or how stubborn he was, but that's what Tony Pulis is about. If we didn't like what he brought to the club then the person to have a go at, was the man who employed him.
This constant hatred shown towards him is totally unfair and I for one wish him well.(but not against us or anywhere near our club)

Sick of hearing about Pulis, yes he did well at first but hes been left since 2013 nothing to do with our club now. Showed his true colours in his interviews about us.

In fairness lots of other teams supporters have said the same, fuck I've even heard some of our own so called fans saying they'd sooner see us get relegated than get the capped one back. Talk is cheap until you're faced with the fact that it might just happen - then you have to dance with the devil. Gouranga. If it was a straight choice between relegation and having him back for another 2-3 year stretch or more I'd take relegation gratefully with both hands now. You are a tit. No if’s no but’s

A vile man with vile footballing philosophies. He dragged our name through the mud and even now we struggle to shake the ghoul that he placed over the club. At Palace he again showed his true colours.

A vile man with vile footballing philosophies. He dragged our name through the mud and even now we struggle to shake the ghoul that he placed over the club. At Palace he again showed his true colours. I would not say vile footballing philosophies: he liked to get the ball forward quickly and also set his teams out to defend properly. In the 50 years I have been supporting our club, some of the best atmospheres at the ground have been under his leadership. The home game where we dicked Redknapp Spurs 2-1 was an incredible spine-tingling atmosphere for the entire 90 minutes, the crowd, I think, were responding to the effort and could relate to the endeavours of the team(players putting everything on the line) His football is old school and possibly now even becoming outdated. He is also a stubborn man who would possibly try anything to win a game of nogger, but those are the very traits that got our club from the brink of tier 3 football to where we are today. Do I want him back - absolutely not. I would also rather he did not go to Swansea because they look nailed on for relegation and will struggle to get to 30pts. Under Pulis, however, there is a lot of evidence to suggest he may be the man to get them to 40pts. I will always look back at the Pulis years with fondness and also a bit of a smile on my face: the Fullers, Delaps missiles, shortening of the pitch, but as stated before also the incredible atmospheres his teams generated - I think they even monitored the noise levels at the Brit in 2010 and we were officially the loudest fans on the planet. He is certainly a character that will always divide opinions, but we surely have to be a little bit grateful for his time here at Stoke and his achievements - even if you can't stand the guy or the way he tries to play the game

Laugh as we did at the time I think he might be a busted flush without Kemp . If he did go to Swansea without Kemp I think his record might be in serious. Jeapordy .

Ron Atkinson used to trot out the never been relegated line until he eventually did with Sheffield Wednesday. Could Pulis take Swansea down? Wouldn't rule it out, not a squad that would suit him.
