It was that shite, I've still got a monk on as I post this. It is driving me away from the game, whether you happy clappers like it or not! I want to watch a team that is at least showing some idea of how to win a game, which IMHO they should have won. We are bobbins at present, and our manager ( whom I re-iterate) I so much wanted to succeed, seems clueless as to who to play. Where was the goal scoring forward that we need, apart from Choupo, who I have quite a bit of time for? He puts Crouchy on, and then doesn't have a player left on the pitch, with the slightest clue how to cross a ball. The less said about Fletchers free kicks, the better. Pieters, garbage Nuff said. How he gets in the team week after week I'll never know. I've almost had it with this lot!

Neutrals I've spoken to today have all commented on what a good game it was and that we should have won the game. A number of them (a Newcastle fan, Sunderland fan, Manure fan, a Spurs fan and a Bradford City fan) each thought that we look a good team. Pieters did little wrong on the night and had a good game. Yet again the player he was primarily responsible for nullifying was subbed having barely had a kick all night long. I'd suggest that you take some time away from the matchday experience to let your senses recover a little and perhaps let those pre-conceived misgivings go so that you can judge each game on its merits.

I judge the game on what I see. We IMHO should have won that game comfortably, and didn't. Let's see how the shower do in the next couple of games. I think we'll lose both of them. Let's just see eh! I repeat. I was not happy with that shite last night, and I'm sticking by it!

Had an extra day in Brighton and just got back home.
I thought we played OK and would have won but for our best player's recent involvement with international football.
Diouf and Zouma had their poorest games for ages and looked like they weren't on speaking terms. Shaq was a mixture of match controlling genius and very careless waywardness. Ramadan must improve his decision making. When to run, cross, shoot or cut back inside are things he seems to do at random without considering the situation infront of him. Wimmeer looked a bit better. Everyone else was OK without really doing anything of note.
Away support was pretty good all things considered. That is not an easy place to get to or to get way from.

Played well but defensive mistakes cost us again. Enjoyable game and a draw was a fair result. Did their mistakes for our 2 goals helped.

I thought we played more as a team. And rather than just individual brainfarts they were collective fuck ups. The whole team switched off, twice. First goal about four of ours took a swing. The second started with the offensive Shaq free kick. Weird, and not sure what to make of it. But not fretting. Stronger second half of the season will come true again I reckon.

Sums it up perfectly for me. My only difference is, I was home by 10.30. To get home from a game within an hour is a luxury. Fair play to all those who came from afar. I do it when I go to the 365 on a Saturday, but on a Monday night for an 8 pm kick off.? Everyone that did that deserves saluting

We’re coasting. Drifting down. Slowly. Quietly. But surely.

Royland summary pretty much spot on. Joe, Ryan, Choupo and the unfairly criticised Peters were decent; Douffa, Zouma, Rama and Fetch a bit off. Shaq frustratingly both brilliant and poor in turn. I can't see that we can have any complaints over the result - Ryan's tackle looked a clear pen to me.

Brutal truth is: We managed to hold what is plainly a championship team to an away draw. Given recent spend how far have we come ? The answer is pretty much ------nowhere!!!!!!! and the fees for wimmer - berahino and imbulla have been nothing short of a fucking disaster for the likes of a club like us. Add this to what talent Ramadan had, is plainly being coached out of him and yet another completely bonkers substitution -is it any wonder some of us remain dissatisfied?

Subbing a bloke who was asking to come off 10 minutes before he was subbed doesn't seem particularly bonkers to me. Brighton v stoke was a premier league fixture that I attended on Monday so quite how we managed to play a championship side is pretty amazing.

Player ratings... Grant- 4- wanted to give him a higher rating but I think he could (and probably should) have saved both goals. Missed jack??
Diouf- 6- he didn’t do anything wrong, but I didn’t really notice him on the pitch.
Zouma- 7- he scored a wonderful header and his defending was as good as we’ve seen.
Shawcross- 7- played really well, Almost got himself on the score sheet aswell. But when he went In for that challenge, i think 1000 stoke fans held their breath for about 5 minutes.
Wimmer- 6- he was okay. Seen some people say how great he was, and I’ve seen some people say how poor he was. I wouldn’t say either. He’s had better and worse performances.
Pierters- 6- gets no credit for what he did. Kept knockart quiet. But he wasn’t spectacular. Still can’t cross a ball and should’ve tackled there lad for the first goal.
Fletcher- 4- think he was our weakest player, slowed our attack down, didn’t really get us forward.
Ramadan- 5- gets a lot of critics, but I think he is getting. better game by game. He only took there right back on 3 times in the game and beat him them 3 times. Just needs a end product, but that’ll come in time.
Choupo- 6- he’s not at striker. Good goal though.
Shaq- 7- some people where criticising shaq, we’ll i thought he was our motm. We didn’t look threatening when he went off. Another assist, well played shaq.
Crouch- 5- played so deep I didn’t know he was a centre forward. And any crosses got no where near him. Not the greatest sub
Think it’s 2 point dropped to be honest

Have to agree with robo51. I probably would have taken a draw before the game but having watched the game on TV I believe it was 2 points dropped. Brighton were there for the taking and we couldn't step up a gear to clinch the win. I came away feeling frustrated so don't know how the poor sods who travelled there felt! Its hard to be enthusiastic when you see a performance like that and raises questions about the club's ambitions.... :-(
