Wow, the knives are out for the Bluffer in the Torygraph today...
"With the PM absent, the prefect made compelling audition for head boy" coupled with three pages of smiling Sunak.
Seems like even the blindingly loyal have started to realise the Bluffer's incompetence...

How are the Tories doing in Stoke since they were elected?
Too early to judge, I guess, especially given the year we have had, but slowly approaching a full year since the election. How time has flown!
Genuinely interested to know the views of those who voted for them and live around the area. Do you regret it? And if based largely on Brexit, would you do it again?
Still find it mad that Stoke-on-Trent is a Tory city.

The central one, Gideon, was on the radio every couple of weeks at one point, she was quite amusing I thought, she'd be on one day staunchly defending the latest government fuck up and then again a day or so later staunchly defending the inevitable u-turn. Think she gave up, or they gave up having her on, a couple of months ago. Understandable I suppose.

Possibly a fair few of the new intake starting to distance themselves a little from the Bluffer's administration since the knives are starting to be sharpened for him?

I went to a hustings at the Uni last year, she didn't fair terribly well, largely not her fault, more than a few people were onto the bluffer and his lies and weren't shy of telling her, raucous laughter at 'her' expense ensued more than once, not much she could do really. I think she was/is just so desperate to be an MP, anywhere, the boat would have to be well and truly rocking before she joined in with the pushing.

Had the same experience at my local hustings, but he got elected as well. I think that was probably more to do with the national picture than the local individuals, not wanting Corbyn and the success of Get Brexit Done as a soundbite. Interesting to hear that though. Seems like a lot of people were of the mind to give the Bluffer 'a chance' and that perhaps they're now starting to feel he might have had it and blown it already? If the ratings are anything to go by...

I've seen a few claims of "don't worry, the bluffer is just a figurehead" I've no issues with that per se, it shouldn't be so and its been borne out by his performances in parliament but it really does depend who his puppeteer is and there's indications it's the Mekon, which I find very worrying.

I can imagine your spirit reaching another plane of existence and you'll appear to the rest of us as a small, red orb.

And your joke doesn't really work if you miss the word idiot out as it kinda reads like you are asking people to check if their village is missing

His punctuation and spelling aren't great but the joke takes very little working out in my opinion.

Claims to have been to Uni.. Yeah... As a janitor... He was blaming the Tories for not being able to afford a passport a while back. It's £70-80, hardly a Rolex Submariner 😆 Some people like to play the 'Arnold J Rimmer' and blame someone else for their failings. Poor exam result? It was the pen's fault. Didn't get that job? Bus driver was too slow... It's easier than admitting your own lack of nous. I mean, use your own initiative- you can learn foreign languages online, so there must be a free app or something for English grammar?

You seem to have missed the bit where it points out that the removal of the £20-a-week increase would result in UK unemployment support falling to lowest real-terms level since 1991, and lowest ever level relative to average weekly earnings. A big flying turd thrown to the 'red wall'. Well done turkeys!
