Who's excited about the Budget?
- £5 billion to roll out super-fast broadband across rural areas and a further £1 billion to expand 4G coverage.
- A cut in the ‘job tax’. Raising the employment allowance from £3,000 to £4,000, giving millions of businesses an immediate boost.

Why can't they just do a TV address to the country?

It is not specifically aimed at those who pay low wages. And, before you whinge that “you didn’t say it only helped those who pay low wages”, that was the tone of your post and the pointless point you were trying to sell.

Forgetting the virus for one minute all we have heard from the tories over the last 2 years is that we have a strong economy,in the hands of Labour it would b e a disaster etc etc. Now with interest rates so low the BOE cannot help and support this government anymore has it has nowhere to go,it cannot help to stimulate spending and the economy anymore which was always going to happen. For the third month running there has been no growth in the UK economy and this will eventually shrink even more and by the summer we WILL be in a recession yet again.Virus or no virus.

Speaking as a business owner whose business is helped by the Employment Allowance then yes, I probably am more of a “business guru” than you. And I haven’t altered any of your words – I showed your pointless post in full. Now why don't you trot along and go to find something a bit more important to raise your petty points about?

Anyone who's been in the same room as Dorries should self isolate. www.thetimes.co.uk/article/coronavirus-infected-minster-nadine-dorries-had-been-in-no-10-c3sjs5kmp"More than 100 people including Boris Johnson, his fiancée Carrie Symonds, two cabinet ministers and Dame Kelly Holmes were at a Downing Street reception that was attended by Britain’s first MP to contract coronavirus. Nadine Dorries, 62, a health minister, went to the International Women’s Day reception in Downing Street on Thursday last week, the day she first started to show signs of the virus and was beginning to feel “a bit peaky”. She was formally diagnosed last night. Liz Truss, the international trade secretary, and Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the international development secretary, were also both at the event."
