I know these things are not really personal but it seems almost personal when they 'go clear'. Which one are you most dreading? Neil young for me. Or joni Mitchell. Or Dylan. Or ian Anderson. Too many of a certain age now

Chris Rea for me - not everyone's cup of tea I know. He's overcome some serious illnesses in the past few years which apparently were close to him hitting the off switch.

I think the time Noddy Holder dies will have a certain poignance for me.
I'll be sad to see Dylan go too, for different reasons.
And if Ricky Wilson could live to a ripe old age and then die at about 90 I'll be pleased to see that as well. (because that will mean I've lived to 108 years old and am still sufficiently compos mentis to recall who he was and know that he is no more) (not that I've really got anything against him personally (in fact I quite like the Kaiser Chiefs))

Ooh what a strange but interesting question, didn't most of them already die in 2016? I don't like losing any of the heroes I had as a youth. Paul Rogers, Robert Plant, Dave Gilmour, Neil Young? Let them live forever is what I say

The day the last beatle dies the world will mourn in unison. Not bad for a bunch of lads from a northern town.

Bid from the Monochrome Set - he has already had major health issues with a cerebral aneurysm. Quite like Ricky Wilson too - he almost died in Townsville when ascending the scaffolding around the stage a few years again. Miss bumping into Ozzie in the pub at Ranton (as I now live in Oz)

I don't see a reason to get all mauldin over aging rock stars who have lived a fab life.
The death of Bruce Springsteen would mark the passing of an era for me - but I'd be celebrating his work instead.
The death of ANYONE under the age of 40 - that's a bigger reason to mourn.
