YOU what?? Choupo kept going all game and set up the winner thanks to efforts you really are clueless He kept going?? That constitutes playing well? That's the bare minimum. He didn't mean to set the goal up did he? It was a shit shot! "He didnt mean to set the goal up" jesus christ what a stupid comment! Of course he did, he won the ball back off their right back to create the 1st chance where Allen was fouled which led to his double shot on target for crouchies goal! Stop talking shite man 😆

He kept going?? That constitutes playing well? That's the bare minimum. He didn't mean to set the goal up did he? It was a shit shot! There were plenty of issues in the team today. But Choupo wasnt one of them. He got caught on the ball a couple of times so maybe that sticks in the head. But overally he did well 2nd half. He tried to beat his man a couple of times but failed. But still I prefer a winger that TRIES to create something rather than just keep passing it back. Not everything came off, but he should never have been subbed for trying to take the game to Southampton Only Choupo & Shaq were trying to create anything today. Our so-called wingbacks created fook-all down the wings today Our wingbacks shouldn't be playing at wing back, that's one of the biggest issues we have. I've loved Choupo so far but I thought he was just really poor today. He didn't look at the races at all. None of them did but he looked like he was asleep and was way too reactive. And I'm not convinced with Shaq this season either. You can't fault his effort but I think he's trying too hard. He's trying to push things and it isn't working on the whole. He needs to calm down and take his time. Love his desire to show he's the main but I think it's hindering him. He's dropping too deep too but again that's because the midfield aren't to scratch and he's trying to force it. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place to some extents.

I'm sorry but I can't agree with people saying Hughes was right to keep Choupo on. If Arnie had a game like that last season I can guarantee you'd all be slagging him off. In all honesty it just wasn't his day, just because we won it doesn't change the fact he was lucky to stay on the pitch does it? I like the guy but it won't stop me saying how it was today.

Shaqiri I think is doing great. We actually score from corners again. His crossing has become a real weapon. I kind of agree he has too much on his shoulders because hes the only creative player we really have. Our midfield is combative but is not contributing up front. Pieters was good defensively but was pretty anonymous going forward bar the overlap run for the 2nd goal. At the end of the day if Shaq wasnt playing we would probably be in the relegation zone, hes become that important to us.

Faded in the second half a bit, but Crickey - he played well overall. I would say he was one of the better players today, if not the best. Very good player.

Wrong to take Shaq off in my opinion but hey what do I know 😆 He knows what he’s like with injuries around international times

Despite trying his bollocks off. I just think he needs to relax and simplify what he's trying. There's too many touches, too many unnecessary stepovers and not enough taking players on. He did it once today and it resulted in a booking. It's what he needs to do more of. Possibly, I just think he's a lot better than what he's showing.

Neither Pieters or Diouf are wing backs fact and should not be expected to either, this problem is yet again self inflicted Hughes has settled on a system that he has not got the right tools to implement effectively not for the first time.

Hughes and Zouma both gave him 'words' and the lad stepped up. Brill to watch him at the moment. Choupo kept nodding off, but still pulled some juice out for the winner. Seen us play better and lose, happy enough. Did Diouf play with a broken arm second half? Seemed to be holding it weirdly.

We went to 442 and it worked then he changed it back and it didn't work. Didn't get that. Choupo needed taking off after about 60 mins too. could not disagree more about choupo yep he lost possession 3 -4 times in all but - never in key situations and contributed in a major way to our victory throughout minute one right through to minute ninety five
