It was inevitable given the huge CCTV coverage on the tube system and London. I would imagine MI5 had him marked within a few hours of the attack. The most difficult thing would have been tracking him from the scene to where he was arrested. Assuming it's the right person of course, it's great work from our security forces.

Great work indeed, especially considering no images were released to get the public actually helping them arrest this huge security risk. Why is that I wonder? 8-|

News about a home being checked of a foster couple who have looked after "refugees" in the past. Don't trust anyone, - especially those that side with immigrants/invaders etc.

I live near in SW London, there are cameras everywhere...something fishy going on TEST On the other hand the cameras gave an almost immediate identification of the bomber and MI5 were able to easily track him to the south coast where he was arrested. Why are you imagining all the conspiracy and subterfuge when the security forces have no need to release his identity because they knew exactly who they were looking for, knew where he was heading for and got him. Don't get your "something fishy going on" view of what's happened?

On the other hand MI5 know exactly who he is and are able to track him without revealing their knowledge and he is caught within 24 hrs. Nice work our security forces and well done.

Clearly didn't go with the idea of blowing himself up, fairy lights as a timer, doesn't suggest a devoted criminal genius. Perhaps the interroga, err questioning will reveal a bit more detail.

A second man has been arrested. Looks like the police and security services are handling this well. I hope they never release their names or photos. Let's not give them the fame they want.
My family and I live 2 stops from Parsons Green and often get that line into town. Luckily my wife chose the overground that morning.

So, what have we got so far?
Iraqi 'refugee' who came here at 15. Given a new life by a kind & caring country, a loving white British family take him in. We put a roof over his head, food in his stomach, money in his pocket, and he thanks us how? By trying to murder dozens of innocent people.
#RefugeesWelcome.

By trying to murder dozens of innocent people. #RefugeesWelcome. in recent years both major parties in the Uk have thought it a good idea to bomb the middle east whilst simultaneously allowing in people from the region they're concurrently bombing, it doesn't take a genius to see the absolute folly of this policy, historically it's probably unprecedented and a recipe for carnage on our streets. We now have thousands of middle easterners in the UK who have both grievances with UK foreign policy and follow a backward ideology.

As the home secretary admitted yet that this bomber was (as usual) known to the authorities? Or is she waiting even longer for the publics attention to shift elsewhere?
