Not all but there’s some right dickhead lorry drivers, a Polish plated lorry came off the Junction 16 slip road at Crewe whilst I was there yesterday, he literally didn’t give a shit about other road users by weaving in and out of both lanes and at point almost forced a Volvo into the barriers as he 100% hadn’t seen him, I’ve said on another post dash cams are a must this day and age.

The fact all the traffic ahead was pulling over acted as a warning Recall years ago my name was a reference on a Moldovian Drivers delivery paperwork, he’d drove down Smallthorne bank on the wrong side of the road and collided with loads of cars, Police were none to happy as he couldn’t speak a word of English and I’d told them I wouldn’t get involved with claims etc. Sure they served him a notice basically telling him he had a short period of time to leave the country.

Not sure if you're familiar with Nantwich Road in Crewe but a Romanian lorry had somehow followed his sat nav to turn down a small street off it near Ruskin Rd think is called and he was stuck there for about an hour. The road was barely fit to drive an SUV down as cars parked either side . There were folk stood there with pints outside the Brunswick pub watching him trying to manoeuvre this huge lorry back onto Nantwich Rd with angry School Moms screaming at him. I'd only popped into Aldi for Cornettos or other essentials but was the most entertaining thing had seen in a while

Ill post it in here save starting a new thread.
Anyone whats up with A500
Sentinel reporting fuck all really.
National Highways is warning a section of the A500 is set to 'remain closed for a number of hours'. Part of the northbound A500 - between the Hanchurch and Hanford roundabouts - has been shut since 6.28am today.
It comes after Staffordshire Police had declared a 'police incident' at 5.32am. Now National Highways has set up a number of diversion routes.
A National Highways spokesman said: "The A500 northbound is closed due to a Staffordshire Police-led incident. Information from the scene indicates that the road is due to remain closed for a number of hours."

It’s widely accepted in the hamlet of sandbach that the stretch of the m6 round there is haunted by the ghosts of soldiers killed in a Middle Ages battle
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence

So they’re just more tired around that point. Seems a bit more plausible?

The Roman Legions on the M6 has been doing the rounds for years and the bit about disturbing the spirits of Roman soldiers buried 2000 yrs ago from a recent excavation is pure bollox. However there is a scientific explanation….."hauntings" can apparently be the result of the ability of certain rock structures containing quartz "recording" previous events, both sound & visual. In certain atmospheric conditions these same events and sounds are played out over and over again ad infinitum. Granite rock and buildings made from granite are particularly prone but other rock containing the mineral can apparently produce these "recordings". Berry Pomeroy castle in Devon is supposedly one of the most haunted buildings in England built primarily of Dartmoor Granite.

There’s a Roman Road outside of the Wolstanton High (or whatever it’s now called) and Chesterton had a fort and a large settlement. Regarding the ‘Rock’ theory, sci-fi writer Nigel Kneale wrote a BBC teleplay called the ‘Stone Tape’ in 1972, where scientists investigate a theory that the stones of a mansion ‘record’ events that later manifests itself in the future.

Ive not heard of that before, will look later. That would be the old road Chesterton to Rocester, along the lines of the old A50.

Any idea on A500 today anyone? There’s been nothing released. My bet is suicide A woman has been taken to Stoke-on-Trent's main hospital in a 'critical' condition after a 'police incident' shut the A500. Staffordshire Police shut the northbound side of the A500 - between the Hanchurch and Hanford roundabouts - in the early hours of yesterday morning. An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to an incident on the A500 northbound. An ambulance, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic, and an air ambulance critical care car were sent to the scene. On arrival, crews found a woman in a critical condition. Ambulance staff administered advanced life support before she was conveyed on blue lights to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."

Not sure what he was trying to bomb ...if it was West Street, no one would have noticed
