Yeah got both pieces of info.
Great stuff
Unlucky with Show Winner just. Gave the horse to much to do to catch the leader.
Thought Dream Eater was going to get there at one stage earlier, but just didn't pick up!
Oh well, we can't win them all

May stay clear of ascot, favs won first three races then a 25/1, 25/1 and i thin 10/1 winner after that, how do they expect punters to make a crust ;D
Fields are too big with too many strong rides, might be easier sticking to the smaller meets where there is less money going on, bookies dream is ascot / chelt / national etc...
Bt i'll still have any tips that are goin!

Old saying Jonesy:
The bigger the field, the bigger the certainty ;D
Seriously though - padders has a superb strike rate on this board since I opened this thread, and I have had a good run as well
Said it many times before - rough with the smooth
At least it unites us Stokies and racing fans
Everyone likes to win a bit of money now and again
If I lose i lose BIG
If I win I win BIG
Everyone to their own
If someone can only afford a fiver and it wins then everything is a bonus
Dont put on what you cant afford to lose
Long may this thread keep going, I find it really fascinating to talk racing with people like the lads on here.
Loony doesnt post many tips but his knowledge of racing is there for all to see.
Dont do it for karmas or brownie points - do it for Stokies and try and win them a bit of the old spare cash in this difficult world in which we all try and survive

Not a tip but I really fancy Moynahan as a decent e/w shout in the 4.55
Need something to double it up with, was thinkin either Dar Re M 3.05 or maybe Colony in 5.30. Advice please!
I don't touch favorites & can't see yeates getting beaten so that race is out.

I'm leaving Ascot well alone
It's just too difficult
I have had some info from the Tom Dascombe yard though
"We have a Dascombe mini special today. Cambletown Trader 6.30 is no world beater but TD thinks it has improved a lot since it's first run. He thinks it will run well tonight. If any of you are having a fiver on (or a monkey in the case of PW), I suggest you take the 8 or 9-1 going at the moment since it is likely to be backed. Also, Gamesters Lady 5.40 runs in a ladies race at Ripon and will be ridden by a Miss M. Sowerby. What many people will not realise is that Miss Mikhaela Sowerby is Tom's partner and rides work at the stables every day. She is highly competent compared to most female jockeys and is travelling up to Ripon right now for just the one ride. On the down side, it has a very bad draw, but she thinks it has has a good chance. It will definitely be doing its best. Good luck."

£523.60 if it wins
£47.82 if it doesn't
£70.76 if it places.
Assuming its 1/5th odds on all of them
Accys are easy to work out - you just add a point on to the pirce to give effect to the stake.
i.e. 3 horse accy where they all win at 4/1 would be worked out thus:
4+1 = 5 4+1 = 5 4+1 = 5
= 5 x 5 x 5 = 125/1 treble
If you had £1 each way and they were all 1/4 odds and all placed it would be:
4 / 4 + 1 = 2 4 / 4 + 1 = 2 4 / 4 + 1 = 2
2 x 2 x 2 = 8/1 e/w treble
If two won and the other placed it would be:
5 x 5 = £25 win off a £1 stake
2 x 2 x 2 = £8 ew win off a £1 stake
Clear as mud ;D

Just clutchin atstraws to get my stake back as I see there was N/R in each race. Bad day at the bookies all in all :-(

Didnt back Gamesters Lady (usually get news from Brisbournes stable)
Had 25 each way on Padders other tip
Went collecting and listened to Padders tip on phone commentary
Never had a mention
Just checked when got back home and was a non runner
Felt like another winner to me ;D
One minute 50 down, next minute no damage done ;D
