Not to mention that bloody drum I'll see your drums and raise you the Atlanta Braves war chant and tomahawk chop. They literally do it for the whole damn game. You have to watch with the sound off when your team plays them in Atlanta. fear the chop lol

It's a horrible noise and is just pure lazy. It isn't hard clapping your hands is it? It is at Old Trafford and the Emerites, when you are holding a camera.

Semi-expected this thread to be about people who insist on clapping unnecessarily during songs, a habit that has unfortunately infected our support. There's now clapping during the main body of "we'll be with you" and it's really sad because, more than Delilah, that's our song and could be sung on a continuous loop. Unfortunately the clapping just kills it dead and fucks it up completely. It exasperates me that people haven't got the self-awareness to realise this. Clapping during songs is akin to weeds in a flower bed, sucking life from the main plants and making their beauty less potent. The clapping to songs in the 60's & 70's created a good vibe, such as the clap x 9 then "CITY!" - which was even better when accompanied by a air horn. There were also a couple of "instrumental"! clapping tunes. Anyone remember them? Don't hear them nowadays. That was my favourite chant and we only chanted CITY twice and usually it was only done when we got a corner. I know block 19 still try to do this by banging on the back of the stand but it ain't the same because not so many join in and anyway they chant City too slow which is the opposite of what they do with every other song. Be great if someone could smuggle an air horn in again to get this old chant reverberating around the ground. BM

Sounded rather salty. Do you like drums haha The best use of a drum in a football ground is when worn round the neck of the knob that took it into the ground in the first place. The drummer from the Honeycombes was a belter pity I've forgotten her name though. Honey Lantree.....i feel old ![(drum)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/npB8GAJXy3xXOK55xuYU.gif)
