Seems like we as a club are being attacked by horse flies and mossys . FFS can we grow some balls and do something positive.

Wouldn't surprise me if Joe asked to move back home tbh, it's just the way this summer is going.

If Allen did go we'd only have one fit midfielder left that's why it won't happen. We'd have to get 2 on before even considering it and the rate we get players in that won't happen.

www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-shock-attempt-lure-13461683.ampAnd while Stoke are taking a not-for-sale stance over the 27-year-old, WalesOnline understands that a deal to land the local ace is not being ruled out. [/quote I can't believe Swansea would approach us without Joe knowing in advance......worrying as they will have money for Siggy eventually? What a difficult window this is becoming..... The next couple of weeks will be defining and I just hope we can persuade players to come and their clubs ,

One of the few players to earn his keep last season - I hope he wouldn't want to move but who knows anymore.

Wouldn't surprise me if Joe asked to move back home tbh, it's just the way this summer is going. I posted it a few days ago in the transfer thread, that's what one of my customers based down there has told me that he wants to live closer to home. He was adamant that Swansea would come in for him at some point....

Sounds like Swansea think he may become available when/if we do some midfield business.
They must think Allen is open to the move too

Our 3rd best player last season and some on here would be happy to fuck him off.
Beggars belief it really does.

Hughes worked hard to sign him

Sounds like Swansea think he may become available when/if we do some midfield business. They must think Allen is open to the move too All players are for sale at the right price. I wonder what that right price actually is? There's no way we would turn down £30 million, we might turn down £20 million though.

They yearn for the backs to the walls, parking the bus give 100% siege mentality. H

There's no way we would turn down £30 million, we might turn down £20 million though. joe Allen is an interesting one. in many stoke fans eyes he flattered to deceive. his early goals covered up many mediocre performances, largely due to the fact he was used in the #10 which he was clearly incapable of. in the football world, managers, players, pundits, joe Allen was a hit. for that reason his price tag should have gone up a fair chunk. however I can see £20m being the absolute maximum we could get for him. if we have someone like illarramendi joining then I wouldn't be too bothered with him leaving. daft to get rid with no one with class joining.

Personally speaking we need to keep him BUT A player who 12months ago was in the euro select tournament team ( Siggurdson played ) , 26 cost 13m and still has 4 years on his contract and probably scored as many goals as siggurdson last season ?...and it's Allen they want to replace him Go to town Stoke if he asks to leave

He is reliable which many players weren't last season, if we are in any sort of trouble he is one of those players who will step up, im not sure many others will. We should at least keep him till January even if the player would like to move.

We obviously know they'll get £45m+ for Sigurdsson so they've got money and will have to pay accordingly for Allen if they want him that badly. If Stoke were prepared to let him go (which I hope they don't) I'd hope they'd set a price upwards of £26m to see if they're really serious.
