Couple of teaspoons of the birds eye variety twenty minutes before kick-off should put the cat amongst the stretford mob. Ought to be a real hum dinger tomorrow. Taxi booked for getting home just to be on the safe side.

Evening all, while dropping pressies off at Great Aunt Pearo’s tonight, I had the wonderful surprise of Great Uncle Pearo giving me to jars of chutney. He hates MUFC with a passion and says any advantage that we can gain is fine by him. So we have one jar of Beetroot, Horseradish and Red Pepper Chutney and one of Vine Tomato, Bird’s Eye Chilli and Onion chutney. Sounds v-e-r-y tasty, if just a little hot !!! I can't decide between them so I may have to try them both I think. I hope you thanked them on our behalf !

Happy Solstice. Short meeting of the DLC. Fewest members. Not sure of the chances of the temporary 'Baby Faced Assassin', against our experience/wit/guile and very own Assassin {who's unfortunately injured for this, nd the next two ties [2/4]}. Designated a free for all, with no dice loading: numbers rolled = goals scored in each half though 6 = 0, for both. The outside chance of a 10-niller. Man U at ours midday 221218 EEFC team... Bath Northy Quietman Maryland Deeside Felonious RogerJ{c} Pearo Chuffed Murphs Merms
Mermaidsal carries the extra advantage of the red Joker into the match, previous Mom* winner. Assassin treatment table/sideline barracking. Strong bench. We're not fond of MU, so we'll utilize subversive strategies to subdue them. Perhaps use the power of the letter 'S' to turn their own snakes against them. Or summat...

Perhaps we could deploy Assassin tactically. Every time one of theirs comes into hearing range of the touchline he could send in a few choice words and a bit of name calling just for good measure. All in the name of harmless fun of course. Scrambled eggs on toast this morning with a splash of chilli sauce to liven up the senses. Banana shot practice coming along nicely.

I’ll certainly be shouting encouragement and abuse from the sideline today. I also have a bag of spare sprouts that I shall sprinkling onto the wings should their wingers be a little pacy.
Good luck everyone, let’s beat this lot in good style.

At least we know every fan of every other club will be supporting us today ! Hopefully OGS will be as inept at Man U as he was when he was manager at Cardiff - the saviour he certainly wasn't ! Looking forward to today and hopefully an early Christmas present of three well earned points ! Just one thought....who's the ref ????

Not sure on the Yuk. Won’t the tuning be different ? I’ve had a fair few guitars ( just one electro acoustic left now ) and ended up with a bass just to mess with. Loved it so much I bought another and that’s all I play now really. I’d just use the bass if I were you and get used to the feel of it. What bass have you got ?I havn't a clue what make it is. It was a kind of gift come convoluted piss take from a mate. I ended up with a red uke and a red bass. I had put the feelers out for one. I thought it was in need of repair, minus pickups etc... a bit busted up. As it transpires a couple of folk have said it's good to go, the missing pick-up a strategy to get it playing low. 4 string, standard shape but with a flash bright red spray job. I've plucked but not even plugged in yet. Practice amp and fuzz pedal for xbox maybe. Make some noize. You lot ought to PM my most excellent mate and very good pal davethebass on 'ere! And if you do get in touch with him, please say 'Murph says "Eh up Dave"......' TA!

I’ve taken on board Dees request for more Wensleydale, also I think Q has a valid point about beer and cheese, so , having spoke to a couple of contacts I have acquired a Charcoal coated extra mature cheddar ( should be superb with the porter ), a smooth Cambazola, less piquant than most blue veins but should sit nicely with the blond beer and some imported Tanzanian Zebra milk cheese. My supplier says it’s like a cross between manchego and red leicester. Please feel free to bring any suitable pickles or chutneys to add to the event. Oh and Chuffed could you leave the monster munch in your car this week, some idiot had put some in my embrocation last week, I thought I’d caught fleas. Mate, while you're at it can you pls get some of that cheese that's wrapped in nettle leaves (or sth like that.....) ??? It looks so cute. Ta ever so. Oh, and some seedless grapes, black ones and green ones, but make sure they're sweet, pls, because me screwing my face up is NOT a sight you want to see too often. And can all you lot please bear in mind that Cheddar gives me migraine, so pls don't slip any in on the quiet into anything I'm going to eat. I reckon the pickles or chutneys are well covered, by the sound of things, so next time I shall be bringing a Gin & Tonic cheesecake. Gerrin the queue!

Inspirational stuff. Bit of a battering first 45 and getting used to those conditions with everything in your face including the opposition, was no mean feat. Whatever Dee massaged into those boots second half worked wonders and boy, sal doesn't half find those positions, lethal I'd say. Safe to say that the Hornets were well and truly stung. The M1 can be notoriously slow and difficult on a weekend but the on-board celebrations made the journey glide by. Note to self, go easy on the cheese. Bit of goat next time maybe washed down with a surprise offering from the usual quarter. Great teamwork let's carry out a proper job on the stretford shirt shop. COYMEEFC. 🧀🎉 Belated thunderous applause & a deafening Delilah to Sal for finding the net TWICE last time out. Worra girl! xxx

Yeessss - Great comeback everyone !!! All their players, and the media, were SO miserable that they'd lost but we put on one hell of a performance in the second half. That was one heck of a motivational speech at half-time (again) from the Gaffer.
I have to say I've recorded the MOTD footage of my goal today. Even I still can't believe I managed to beat half of the opposition team before smashing it into the top corner with their keeper waving a white flag in surrender. Typical MOTD tonight though as no mention of our goals but old Jug Ears drooled over Man U's 2 lucky shots.
Also good to see our lady strike force finishing the game off - Sal's really got into the habit with 3 goals in 2 games now, and great peno from murph. Well deserved three points and a real confidence booster.
Special mention too for the Christmas food and drink - the cheese, chutney, and drinks were really great and was a fitting way to congratulate Q on his MOM - shame he didn't open the bottle of Champers though !
Merry Christmas everyone !

That second half was something else, well done. Dees, that goal was just magical. I had no idea you could run that far. I have to agree with your comments on the half time team talk, inspirational stuff from the boss, especially that bit about withdrawing all the cheese if things didn’t improve. The thought of that certainly motivated everyone into producing an awesome second half.
Frustrated to miss out through injury but delighted to be part of a great squad and I’m absolutely ecstatic we have beaten that lot.
Onwards...

In the whole scheme of things an assist is a modest contribution, quality finish Sal. The gaffer certainly made all the difference with a few choice words spurring us on to great things. Especially Dees, when you went past me at that speed there wasn't anyone who could have kept up and as for the footwork and finish, sublime. As for the penalty there's taking out and taking out, did well murph to bury the award. Team spirit doesn't get much better than this. Thanks for arranging the lift home murph nice to have a snooze in a comfy motor. At least this week's cheese wasn't too pungent. May the force be with us all, Merry Christmas. 🎄

MINE! And their bum of a goalie was completely wasting his time trying to put me off my run-up by doing that Grobbelaar-type wobbly legs trick. " HA!... (she spat out scornfully) ……. We EEFC-ers eat wobbly legs for breakfast." Anyway, congrats also to Sal for yet another beaut, and well done Dees on the corker. Oh, incidentally, when he got back, Parker said 'what a pleasure it was to take that exceptionally nice and very kind Mr Chuff home'. He really stressed the 'exceptionally nice and very kind' bit so I told him if he doesn't watch his step I'll give him to you.

Inernal Memo
We've had a difficult ride during the first half of this Prem. campaign. A limited squad, injuries, and some awkard opposition, yet still we're doing more than holding our own.
Finally got a front two firing but the Tabloids, in the interim, have been uite damning:
"Not sure what to expect from these Jokers. %-! thrashing by Chelsea just about sums up their chances" Daily Globe.
"Let's hope this home victory doesn't give EEFC ideaf above their ftaftion." The Sentinel.
"That Manager needs putting to bed: Losing to Fulham. Pffff..." The Sun.
"They look saucy. Smashed up Man U." The Independant.
There'll be some proper stats and fax over the xmas. In the meantime chill and relax. In ernest.
