This might sound ridiculous but is next season too early for him? If so, what level would you say he is at?
Next season is too early without doubt. No reason why he can't go on loan to a league 2 side in my opinion. He's only turned 17 this season so he'll have another year in the u23s. Same with Joe Bursik.

In what has been a shit season for the club, it has been a pretty good year for the academy.
The under 18s finished 4th with only Man City, Man Yoo and Liverpool finishing above them.
The u23s didn't do as well but we have seen a lot of younger players making the step up and getting regular football at a higher level which is good. Bursik, Collins, Forrester, Sorenson and Campbell have all been playing the levels up pretty regularly.
The biggest positive has been the breakthrough of 4 players into first team action.
Souttar got his game in the League Cup and looked assured.
Edwards got his run of games and adapted wonderfully and showed he's ready for the step up.
Campbell's chance probably came too soon as he was thrown into a side devoid of ideas and made no impact but it's a great experience and he will learn from it.
And Sorenson grew into his game and in the end took to it like a duck to water.
