Lovely club always remember the game we played there when we pelted the steward behind the goal with snowballs, from snow under our seats...Magic.

Brilliant to see a club like Huddersfield in the prem instead of a soulless southern franchise like Reading

Good for the premier league this can still happen
something fresh
something different
not a southern club - which is always good
so - welcome - Yorkshire bastards !!! (just needed to get that off my chest)
young -fit - aggressive - ambitous - plenty of young strong legs in that team too - (Note To Mr Hughes)

45 years since they were in the top division. Welcome back. I remember a match against them from my formative years on the old Stoke end, pissing down and foggy you couldn't tell who was who in their muddy strips. I think it ended 3-3 What a game it would have been a non starter today.
Seems it was a cup match according to TC

Wagners stock value rises immediatley. Maybe, but i have to say they were bloody awful.Did they actually get a shot on target in 120 mins of football. They are the only team to be promoted to the premier league with a minus goal diff, they don't score many and concede readily too. Will need massive investment in the summer.

Welcome to the Premiership Huddersfield and Deano. I'd say pretty much guaranteed 6 points next season as both teams today were not Premiership quality

Congratulations Huddersfield.
I hope we do not play them in the early part of the season.
They normally play a lot better than they did today, so do not judge them on today's performance.

Prudhoe's miss kick is still burned on my very soul. Also I remember Griff scoring an absolute belter there but we still lost as usual. Remember 'Leeds Road' as well before the McAlpine or whatever it is now.

Yes,,welcome Huddersfield and that Banana-shaped stadium (was it the Macalpine?) that doubles for Rugby League. Compact ground but always lot of road congestion. Remember we played them at Xmas 0-0 draw. And many moons ago took my son to the old Leeds Road ground. What a shit-hole. Gents lav had no roof look up to the stars and they had one big stand (no seats). Lost 0-1 with the ball being wedged in the stanction. Must have been mid 80s.
