I don't have a problem with anyone suggesting the line up but can we at least restrict it to those players who are a) fit and b) eligible? We may not always agree with the manager but he has to work with what he's got...not that he gets it right

Apart from 1.8 million pound per league position. Whats that then? A 1/4 of a Whitehead? H Don't joke mate. He may well be getting a well deserved clap at our place next season ..... just after conceding an 88 minute penalty

Sad thing is, Whitehead is still athletic and running strong compared to Whelan and the Scottish Seal Adam.

Southampton haven't scored at home for 4 games so only one result 1-0 to the Saints.Just hope this is Hughes's last game but I fear it won't be.

I'd like to see 3-5-2 as this is what Hughes wanted at the start of the season:
Butland Bardsley Shawcross Bruno Diouf Allen Cameron Muniesa Sobhi Shaq Berahino

Southampton haven't scored in 4 home games. 3-0 Southampton. Absolutely nailed on All from previous Stoke targets. Two from Gabbiadini and one from Redmond

Season finished for me last Saturday night actually
not often I can hardly give a fuck about what they do
Last saturday teatime - I stayed behind and watched a lap of honor to an empty ground
no sign of Hughes before I eventually walked
but thats how I feel right now
So
'thanks a bunch Mark' !
AND, I have a mathematical formula to offer Mr Hughes
It goes like this :-
Aging squad / lacking pace + crazy tactics + squad mis-use
+ ( wasteful profligate use of a transfer budget + hopeless loans policy - both in and out)
= RELEGATION
sooner or later

I'd rather staple my eyes closed, but fair play to everyone going! 3 away wins this season and they were against Watford, Hull and Sunderland. So underwhelming really Of course I want a good game and to win but going away is not just about that for me. For me it is about being part of the minority trying to out sing and out support the majority. There's always a feeling of brotherhood sisterhood at these games, I love it and when we do win, wow what a great celebration. It's a feeling you don't get at home games. I try to attend at least five a season plus cup matches. Looking forward to Tottenham next season. "We're on our wal to Wembley".

none of them good enough nor ready sometimes you just got to accept whats real Do you attend training? sitting there with your notepad and pen scribbling down notes on the likes Verlinden and N'Goy? If so, you have a right to that opinion. If not, you can't say they are clearly not good enough, really.

If Ngoy was the pick of them - and its pretty much only him we've seen in the first team
it is easy to conclude - the rest cant be good enough
because he is:- the next 'louis Moult' and not ,'Michael Owen' from what I saw
and that's my assessment
not exactly rocket science
and - if you think we have young players ready to step in - you are becoming as delusional as our manager has sadly become
next you'll be telling me Glenn Whelan - Charlie Adam - and Glenn Johnson can still play in the premier league
C'mon fellas - for fucks sake WAKE UP !

You're a bit ott with the drama queen style antics aren't you? Verlinden is the pick btw, not N'Goy. Also, if you see it fit to judge N'Goy based on 10 minute cameos playing out of position then more fool you.

Football supporters especially ones at Stoke Suffer form something called 'Optimism bias'
look it up
our academy players are pants - mostly if not all
and just because they are ours, you assume they can do better than they actually will

Football supporters especially ones at Stoke Suffer form something called 'Optimism bias' look it up our academy players are pants - mostly if not all and just because they are ours, you assume they can do better than they actually will I don't mean to be rude but you're talking out of your arse on this one. Our "pants" youth team got to the semi finals of the youth cup didn't they? and don't give me "yeah, well they got dicked by Man City didn't they?" either because Man City and Chelsea's academies are the best 2 in the country by a big margin. We have many talented youngsters and if you're choosing to ignore that based on the fact they haven't played for the first team so they therefore "must be shit" then that's cool. Players like Souttar, Edwards, Verlinden, N'Goy, Campbell, Sweeney (there's probably more I've forgot about) have the ability to make it at a high level if they are dedicated enough and get the opportunities, believe me. Anyway, carry on slagging them off for no reason.

-------------Butland
---Bardsley----BMI-----Muniesa
---------Cameron - Allen----------
Diouf----------Adam----------Ramadan
---------Shaq
--------------------Berahino
3-5-1-1
Something different, really struggling on the third midfielder so had to go for Charlie.
Bit concerned about height but then I feel the same every game we go into.
Need to see Allen in a 3 in what is the same formation he plays for Wales.
Would like to see how Shaq links with Saido from a central area too.
